The sun shone through the window, lighting everything in its warm embrace and beckoning Victoria to wake up.


    Victoria closed her eyes but eventually opened them, the sun smiling. She sat up, the sheets sliding off of her.


    She stretched her arms up high, and a knock was heard. "My lady? May I come in?" Alice asked behind the door, "You may!" Victoria said audibly.
