Pushed to limits of his psyche that Mark didn't even know existed, he awakens a strange power that comes from a world long destroyed; a System that gives him the strength to survive in the pits of hell where the Mages that rule these lands watch him dance like a monkey.  In the distant Elvish kingdom of Rhylon, a mysterious woman catches wind of Mark's strange powers and desires to bring him back with her to study him and further her investigation into the powers of old that the rest of the world seems to have forgotten. Something dark looms on the horizon, and whether he wants to or not, Mark is going to be dragged into it. It is bound to be dangerous and painful, and probably more than he can handle...but at least it won't be boring....
