Heaven Sent — [A Skill-Crafting Litrpg]
When a System user enters a world of Archmages, chaos ensues. Mark Phillips didn't lead a particularly great life, but he wouldn't go so far as to say it was a poor one either. His life was simply...fine. Uneventful but peaceful. There were many people in worse places of the world that would've killed to swap his life with theirs. Mark knew he was lucky to be able to even complain about the simplicity. But god...was it so boring. That was before he went to bed one night and awoke in a different world, kneeling before a King who called him a failed Hero, condemning him to execution. Now he's found himself in the pits of Heaven's March, a brutal coliseum where its contestants are treated as slaves and forced each day to fight for their lives. Pushed to limits of his psyche that Mark didn't even know existed, he awakens a strange power that comes from a world long destroyed; a System that gives him the strength to survive in the pits of hell where the Mages that rule these lands watch him dance like a monkey. In the distant Elvish kingdom of Rhylon, a mysterious woman catches wind of Mark's strange powers and desires to bring him back with her to study him and further her investigation into the powers of old that the rest of the world seems to have forgotten. Something dark looms on the horizon, and whether he wants to or not, Mark is going to be dragged into it. It is bound to be dangerous and painful, and probably more than he can handle...but at least it won't be boring.
