Christopher tapped on the “answer call” button. Just as he ced his phone near his ear, he heard
La’s scratchy voice choking out, “Christopher, something happened to Ken.”
The moment La got off the phone; she received a call all the way from Nardor. The caller exined
to her that Kendrick was involved in a car ident. The car that he was riding in had fallen into a river
valley, but it was unknown if Kendrick was dead or alive. However, the rescuers in Nardor were able to
retrieve the bodies of those who were in the same car as Kendrick from the valley.
Even if the rescuers hadn’t found Kendrick, the other three people who were in the car with him were
