Chapter 208 Getting Sick From Rage


    Irene was nning to move back to the Cook family. However, she did not expect Edric to call her that


    night. He told her that he witnessed Steven being hospitalized and asked if she nned to visit him.


    Irene had happened to watch Steven on the TV regarding news of his meeting in the province the day


    before. Steven seemed energetic then. He did not look sick. Why would he suddenly be admitted to the


    hospital?


    She recalled the time when Steven had pretended to be sick and hospitalized. Irene had a hunch that


    something must have happened to Steven during his meeting at the province, so he pretended to be

    Not long after dinner, Maisy called to inform Irene that Steven had been admitted into the hospital


    because he had passed out. She requested Irene to head over to the hospital to visit him.

    Irene nced at Maisy and asked, "Is his hypertension that serious?".

    about to leave, Steven suddenly called out to her, "Irene, it''s my birthday the day after tomorrow. Could


    you bring Eden home for dinner?"
