Chapter 136: He Arranged Everything
The next morning, Estelle was woken by the ring of the doorbell.
Rubbing his eyes, Yohan came over with a drowsy look and said in a sweet voice, “Mom, someone
is ringing the doorbell. We just moved here yesterday. Who wille here so early to visit us?”
Estelle was also confused.
‘Only two people knew that I had moved here.’
Last night, Reba went to Howard’s concert and must have stayed upte having fun. It’s only
seven o’clock now, so she must be sleeping at home.
As for Mr. Mysterious, he has left and won’t show up in the daytime, so it can’t be him either.
Then who is it?
“Yohan, go back to your room and lock the door. I’ll go to see who’sing,” Estelle said.
“Okay.”
After Yohan went back to the room and locked the door, Estelle was relieved, and then put on her
clothes and went to the door.
When she looked out from the peephole, she saw a middle-aged woman in her fifties standing
outside.
Just as Estelle was wondering who she was, the woman rang the doorbell again.
“Who is it?” Estelle raised her voice and asked.
“Excuse me, are you Miss Hudson? I’m your new maid. Open the door, please,” the middle-aged
woman said.
‘I didn’t hire a maid at all. How did she know myst name?’ Estelle wondered.
“Was it a young girl about twenty-five years old who asked you toe here?” she asked.
The middle-aged woman denied it and said, “No, a young man who looks like he was in his early
thirties hired me and asked me toe here to work from today. He said that you like to eat chicken
soup, so I made the soup early in the morning and brought it here.”
‘A young man who knows that I like eating chicken soup... It must be Mr. Mysterious,’ Estelle
thought. Then she opened the door immediately and let the woman in.
The middle-aged woman was slightly chubby and looked very amiable. With a food bag in her hand,
she greeted Estelle with a smile, “Hi, Miss Hudson. I’m your new maid. You can call me Mrs.
Moorsum. I’ve worked as a maid for many years, and I’m experienced in taking care of children. You
can count on me.”
‘She’s also called Mrs. Moorsum?’ Estelle was stunned, and meantime, she was moved by what Mr.
Mysterious had done for her.
“Miss Hudson, what’s wrong with you?” Mrs. Moorsum asked.
Estelle shook her head and said, “Nothing. Thank you, Mrs. Moorsum.”
“I should be the one who says thank you, Miss Hudson. That young man paid me ten times more
than my previous sry,” Mrs. Moorsum said.
Then she went to the kitchen, found the tableware, and ced the food that she had bought on the
table in order.
“Miss Hudson, this chicken soup is made for you. And here are eggs, milk, toast, sandwiches, and
hash browns for your son,” Mrs. Moorsum said as she made cereal with milk. “It’s important to keep
a bnced diet, especially for a five-year-old child who’s growing up. And both of you should have a
good breakfast every day.”
“Thank you, Mrs. Moorsum.”
“It’s my pleasure. Miss Hudson, you are so gentle and polite. You are totally different from myst
employer. She’s difficult and arrogant, and she always bosses me around rudely. Both you and your
husband are good people. I will take good care of the children so that you can focus on your work.
You can rest assured.”
Hearing this, Estelle was a little embarrassed and exined, “That man is not my husband.”
“He’s not your husband?” Mrs. Moorsum asked in confusion. “But he told me that I would be
responsible for taking care of his wife and children when he hired me.”
Estelle was stunned. “Did he say so?”
“Yes,” Mrs. Moorsum said and nodded affirmatively. “What’s more, he also said that he finally chose
me from so many maids because myst name is the same as your previous maid’s. Miss Hudson,
you may have breakfast now, or the soup will get cold. You’ve just recovered from your illness and
need more nutritious foods. Your husband has told me that I must ensure you eat well daily.”
“Okay. By the way, Mrs. Moorsum, when did... my husband hired you?” Estelle said.
With a frown, Mrs. Moorsum thought for a while and answered, “About two months ago. I didn’t
work in the past two months, but he still paid me. He’s really a nice person. Miss Hudson, you’re so
lucky to have such a caring husband and two lovely children. You are blessed with a happy family.”
Upon hearing her words, Estelle sighed with emotion and smiled bitterly. This Mrs. Moorsum had
the samest name and the same style of speech as the previous one. The precious Mrs. Moorsum
had also said that she was blessed with a happy family.
‘Mr. Mysterious hired her two months ago?’
‘Two months ago, I was still pregnant with Yvonne and hadn’t met him yet.’
‘That was to say, Mr. Mysterious arranged everything for me when I didn’t know him.’
“Mom.” At this time, Yohan came out of the room and called her in a low voice. “Yvonne seems to
have wet the bed.”
Estelle smiled and said, “It doesn’t matter. I will change the diaper for her.”
When she was about to stand up, Mrs. Moorsum quickly walked toward the children’s room and
said, “Miss Hudson, you may continue to have breakfast. I’ll handle it. Little boy, go wash up and
have breakfast with your mom. I’ll take care of the baby.”
Mrs. Moorsum was so vigorous and enthusiastic that Yohan blinked his big eyes and looked at her
curiously.
Then he walked up to Estelle and hugged her, saying, “Mom, I miss you so much.”
His sweet words made Estelle’s heart melt. And she couldn’t help chuckling and said, “We haven’t
seen each other for just a night. Do you miss me so much?”
Yohan held her hand, looked up at her with a bright smile, and said, “Yes, Mom. I miss you very,
very much.”
“I will always be with you, Yohan,” Estelle said with her voice full of tenderness.
“Mom, who is that grandma?”
“She’s our maid whoes here to help me take care of you and your sister. You can call her Mrs.
Moorsum. She is a very kind-hearted person.”
“I see,” Yohan said. “Did my new dad hire her for you?” N?velDrama.Org holds text ? rights.
“Well... Yes. Yohan, you don’t have to call him Dad now. I haven’t got married to him yet,” Estelle
said.
Yohan nodded and said, “Then I’ll call him uncle now. And after you marry him, I’ll call him Daddy.”
“Okay.”
“Mom, what’s uncle’s name? How should I address him?”
Estelle didn’t know how to answer his question because she didn’t know Mr. Mysterious’ name.
Finally, she could only say, “You can just call him Uncle.”
“Okay.”
