Chapter 105: A Benefactor
“Don’t call me anymore! Estelle is still sleeping!”
“No way. Estelle doesn’t want to talk to you. Don’t dilly-dally or talk nonsense. All you should do now
is to get divorced from Estelle as soon as possible.”
Woken up by the voice, Estelle slowly opened her eyes. Then she surprisingly found that she had
been sent back to the ward and was lying on the bed.
Beside her, Yvonne had woken up and was looking at her with her big eyes. Seeing Yvonne’s cute
look, Estelle couldn’t help but smile and gently kiss her angelic face.
Yvonne then became happier and giggled.
“Thank goodness you are fine now,” Estelle gently touched Yvonne’s little nose and said. “I was
almost scared to death yesterday.”
Yvonne made cooing noises as if responding to Estelle and then sucked at her own finger with an
innocent look.
“Estelle!” Seeing Estelle awake, Reba quickly hung up the phone and rushed over.
“I’ve known about what happened yesterday. How could such a thing happen? I shouldn’t have left
yesterday afternoon,” she said.
Seeing her red eyes and nose, Estelle knew that Reba must have cried.
She gently held Reba’s hand and said, “Taking care of me has taken too much of your time
these days. You don’t have toe here every day. I know you are always busy.”
“I’m not busy at all. My father’spany is developing better and better, and many otherpanies
have reached an agreement on cooperation with him. He doesn’t need me to help him now. You are
the benefactor of our family. He asked me to take good care of you.”
“Benefactor?” Estelle was confused.
“Yes. When we were in high school, you helped me and protected me from being bullied. Andst
time, you helped my family solve the cash flow problem. Estelle, I’m so lucky to have a friend like
you. If you need anything in the future, just tell me. I’m willing to do anything for you!” Reba said
sincerely.
“Then please help me write a resignation letter and send it to Mr. Roberts. I’m afraid I can’t go to
work anymore,” Estelle chuckled and said.
Reba suddenly thought of something and said excitedly, “You don’t need to resign. Tim thinks
that you are a talented designer, so he makes an exception for you. He let me tell you that you can
work at home and he will pay you as usual.”
Estelle was a little surprised. “Really?”
“Sure,” Reba said, looking very happy. “By the way, Estelle, the set of jewelry that you designed
for Mrs. Greenst time is very popr now! I heard that yesterday afternoon, she went to an
auction wearing that set of jewelry. Guess what? Thedies on the spot took a fancy to the jewelry
when they saw it! After the auction, they all went to Only Love Jewelry and said that they wanted to
buy the jewelry designed by you. Tim earned an absolute fortune!”
Hearing this, Estelle was a little stunned.
The jewelry that she designed was indeed exquisite. And she was very confident that the finished
product would be more good-looking than it looked on the sketch. She had expected that Mrs.
Green would be satisfied with the jewelry, but she did not expect that it would cause a sensation.
“Mrs. Green appreciates you very much. She praises you to almost all the richdies that she
knows. And now you are very famous among the richdies in the upper ss. My mother and her
friends have made an appointment to go to Only Love Jewelry and buy customized jewelry
designed by you.”
Estelle quickly said, “Just tell me what style of jewelry Mrs. Miller likes, and I’ll design jewelry for her
first.”
“Oh, my God! It’s so kind of you, Estelle. My mother will be extremely happy if she knows it!”
Reba eximed. “Now, anyone who wants to buy the jewelry designed by you needs to make a
reservation. Tim is kind enough to know you are sick and can’t work long hours, so he tells the
customers that you will only take one order a month. I heard that more than thirtydies have made
reservations.”
Hearing this, Estelle was dumbfounded.
When she was at Lanster Jewelry Design Academy, many professors and masters in the design
industry spoke highly of her. They said that she was talented and believed that she would be veryN?vel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive ? material.
sessful in this industry.
Estelle was also confident in her ability. But after so many years since she dropped out of university,
she actually felt a sense of unreality when she heard that so many people liked the jewelry
designed by her.
“Reba, I...”
“Estelle,” Reba held her hand tightly and encouraged her. “Cheer up. The design industry can’t
lose talent like you. For your children and the customers who like your design, don’t give up the
hope to live.”
Hearing this, Estelle was touched and nodded. “I see.”
She had had advanced cancer for a long time and didn’t care about how long she could live. But
she could see Reba still couldn’t ept the fact.
“By the way, Cristofer called me just now. He was going through the divorce procedures with your
lawyer at the Court. He called you, but you blocked him, and he couldn’t get through. He said that
he wanted to talk to you on the phone, but I refused his request.”
Estelle licked her lips and said, “I see.”
“Estelle, you finally got divorced and got rid of Cristofer. Now you’ve regained your freedom, and
you can be together with Mr. Mysterious.”
Speaking of Mr. Mysterious, Estelle asked, “Reba, when did youe?”
“I came here before seven o’clock in the morning,” Reba said as she showed Estelle a message
on her phone. “Look, at six o’clock, I received a message. It might be from Mr. Mysterious. He
asked me toe and spend more time with you when I’m not busy. Then I rushed here
immediately.”
Looking at the words “Thank you very much” on the screen, she was sure the message was from
Mr. Mysterious.
He was always gentle and polite and could do everything properly.
“Estelle, I can see that Mr. Mysterious is a good man,” Reba said. “He is gentle and treats you
well. It seems that Ingemar hasn’t any chance to chase you. Gentleness is a man’s greatest
weapon in defeating his rival in love.”
Estelle chuckled. “You’re right.”
“Many girls think that the rich and bossy CEOs in romantic novels are manly. But I think in real life, a
gentle and considerate man is much better than any bossy CEO. Manliness is never reflected in a
man’s domineering words or wealth. A manly man should be gentle and powerful enough to protect
his beloved woman.”
