Chapter 70: Have A Good Meal
“Now?” Estelle asked, frowning slightly.
“Yes. He said that time was limited, and you needed to hurry,” The driver urged her.
Hearing this, Estelle wondered, ‘Is it an emergency?’
She was confused and couldn’t figure out what it was.
While they were talking, Henry’s mother walked over and asked softly, “Miss Hudson, did I cause
you trouble again?”
As she spoke, she wiped her hands, bowed to the assistant manager, and said, “I’m sorry, sir. My
child is too reckless. I’ll let him out right away. What he did has nothing to do with thisdy. It’s all
my fault. Please don’t make things difficult for her.”
The assistant manager quickly helped her up and said, “How do we dare make things difficult for
her? We’ll be thankful if she doesn’t make things difficult for us.”
Seeing this, the driver asked, “What happened?”
The assistant manager stammered with an unnatural look, “I... I...”
“Nothing,” Estelle said. “Let’s not talk about it now. Didn’t Mr. Mysterious ask me to hurry up? Let’s
go.”
The driver nodded and said, “Okay, Miss Hudson.”
Estelle turned her head and took a look at Henry, who was still tearful and his mother, who was
holding him in her weak arms. Then she sighed and said, “I have something to attend to and have
to go now.”
“Don’t worry, Miss. I’ll take care of the two of them,” The assistant manager said with a ttering
smile.
“Okay. Thank you.”
“It’s my pleasure,” The assistant manager said.
Estelle felt relieved and followed the driver out of the hotel.
The driver opened the rear door for her considerably, and then she got into the car. After that, the
driver returned to the driver’s seat and started the car.
Through the rearview mirror, Estelle studied the driver’s face thoughtfully.
The driver seemed to have sensed her gaze and joked with a smile, “Miss Hudson if Mr. Mysterious
knows that if you gaze at me in this way, he will be angry.”
Estelle looked away and asked, “How shall I address you?”
“My name is Ron.”
“Ron, do you know what it is that Mr. Mysterious wants to see me about?” Estelle asked.
Ron smiled and said, “I don’t know. Mr. Mysterious just asked me to send you to a seafood
restaurant.”
“Seafood restaurant?”
“Yes.”
“Does he like eating seafood?” Estelle asked.
“As far as I know, he doesn’t like it very much. Maybe he suddenly wants to eat it today,” Ron said.
After about half an hour, the car stopped at the gate of a seafood restaurant in the east of the city.
“Miss Hudson, here we are.”
“Thank you.” Getting out of the car, Estelle looked at the restaurant and felt even more strange.
The seafood restaurant was not high-end but more like a sidewalk snack bar. And the signboard
was old and broken. Nevertheless, many people were in it, and the atmosphere was lively.
‘Mr. Mysterious like a restaurant of this style?’ Estelle thought.
“Miss Hudson, Mr. Mysterious is waiting for you in Private Box No. 005. You may go in now,” Ron
urged.
Estelle nodded and walked in.
“Miss, there’s no vacant table for the moment. Sorry,” a waiter said when she saw Estelle.
Estelle said, “My friend made a reservation before and is waiting for me in Private Box No. 005.”
The waiter checked the reservation record and quickly said, “Okay. I’ll take you to the box now. This
way, please.”
Box No. 005 was on the second floor. There was no elevator, and Estelle had to walk up a long
stairway to the box.
If it were in the past, it would be easy for Estelle to walk up the stairs. But at this moment, the

very likely that the incision had opened up. Therefore, every step that she took made her feel a
sharp pain.
Estelle took out a painkiller and swallowed it. She shook the bottle gently and found that there were
not many pills left.
“Miss, here we are,” the waiter said and opened the door of the private box for her.
When Estelle walked in, she saw no one there.
“Excuse me, hasn’t my friend arrived?” she asked the waiter.
The waiter said, “I don’t know. Your friend called us to make a reservation and has already paid the
bill in advance. You may order whatever you like.”
Hearing this, Estelle thought, ‘It seems that Mr. Mysterious won’te. Then why did he ask me to
come here?’
“Miss, may I take your order now?” the waiter asked.
“I’ll have some iced water first. Thank you,” Estelle said.
“Okay. Would you like some other drinks?”
“No, thank you.”
The waiter nodded, walked out, and closed the box door.
Estelle then sat down at the table, texting Mr. Mysterious.
‘Sir, I’ve arrived at the restaurant.’
Mr. Mysterious replied to her as if he had been waiting for her message.
‘Okay.’
Seeing the brief reply, Estelle wondered, ‘Okay? That’s all?’
She texted Mr. Mysterious again. ‘Sir, will youe?’
‘No.’
‘Then, is there something you need me to do?’
‘Yes. Have a good meal.’
Estelle was both speechless and stunned.
‘Mr. Mysterious asked Ron to drive me from the west to the east of the city just to let me have a
good meal in this restaurant?’
Since Mr. Mysterious had said so, she had no choice but to do as he said.
She guessed that Mr. Mysterious asked her to eat here maybe because the food here was to his
taste or maybe because the restaurant meant a lot to him, for he hade here with his beloved
woman before.
“Mom, Cristofer must have known something. He asked me where I was when Mrs. Moorsum was
killed.”
“What are you afraid of? He wouldn’t have asked you about it if he had conclusive evidence. He just
suspected you. It doesn’t matter, Gretchen. Listen to me. The most important thing for you is to get
married to him as soon as possible, or all that we have fought for in the past six years will be in
vain!”
“But I don’t even have a chance to see him these days. He is busy in thepany in the daytime
and goes to Hans’ Residence to take care of his daughter at night. I just asked him when he would
marry me that day, but he seemed very irritable and showed a bad attitude toward me.”
“It can’t go on like this,” Melody said with hatred. “We nned everything well and were about to
seed. But unexpectedly, Estelle gave birth to a child for Cristofer. If it weren’t for this child, you
would have been married to Cristofer! Haven’t you got the address of Hans’ Residence yet?”
“No. By the way,st time Cristofer and I went to the jewellery store to buy rings but happened to
meet Estelle! Didn’t York freeze her ounts? Why could she afford diamond rings worth almost a
million dors?” Gretchen was anxious.
