    I hope this message finds you well and is not bothersome.


    This is Chukwudi Egbo. GIG for short, if you remember. Also, you may well recall the less than pleasant circumstances that brought us together in late October 2023. Worse still were the circumstances thatsurrounded our parting. If this dredges up bitter memories, I am sorry. I still wish things had gone differently for all of us.


    I have since been inducted into the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, but have only recently started my housemanship in UNTH; I was posted to the department of Paediatrics to begin.Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere.


    Two days ago, we got a case in the children emergency which may well fall under that label of weird so characteristic to (y)our kind of cases. However, I am not sure. Thus, my reason for writing to you.


    Would you be available for a brief call or meeting as soon as possible to discuss this further? I tried calling your number earlier, but it wasn''t reachable.Perhaps you could suggest other methods of reaching you via ordinary or extraordinary means, it doesn’t matter.
