Introduction: The life of children of ash is not a peaceful one. Children of ash, beings born from the immortal flame, fight and consume each other to gain a brighter flame. A constant battlefield consumes their planet, sol, where only beings of fire and stone can live. Chaos rules supreme and the brightest flame can evolve to a supreme being, someone who can leave their planet and survive.A small being of fire, just embers now, travels through the fields of debries. It must wander and consume the small amount of energy that grows from the scorched earth. Other forms of energy exist and grow in the soil but they are too large for the small ember to consume. The small ember does not last long though. Either it ends from burning out or being consumed by a larger flame. One spark of life in a thousand is able to transform from embers to a flame.
