“Pfft!” Ezra chuckled, giving him a defiant look. “Whether it’s good or not, it’s none of your business.
Tabatha, let’s go. We’re going home.”
After speaking, he put his arm around me and we got into the car. Before closing the car door, Ezra
looked at Walter and said, “Oh, I forgot to tell Mr. Hinton. Tabatha and I are nning to have our

I furrowed my brows, momentarily frowning, a wedding? At the end of the month?
What was Ezra up to again?.
Walter didn’t look at him, but stared straight at me with his dark eyes. I pursed my lips, avoiding his
gaze, and tacitly epted Ezra’s words.
“Mr. Hinton!” A soft feminine voice rang out, I instinctively looked over, it was Marjorie. She seemed to
have a fondness for pink. Now that spring had arrived, the already beautiful woman, after careful
dressing, was even more stunning.
Seeing her, Walter’s handsome brows slightly furrowed, he didn’t speak.
Instead, he nced at me and said to Ezra, “Alright, I will definitely give Mr. Monroe a big red envelope
then.”
“Thanks a lot.” Ezraughed boisterously, got into the car, nced at Marjorie who was following
behind Walter, and turned back to me, “Such a woman, indeed has some charm, it would be
