Chapter 110
Chapter 110 the Heart Ind
After speaking, he hung up the phone, looked at me and smiled, saying, “I’ve asked your sister-inw
toe and watch over Walter, let’s go!”
I nodded, following him out of the hospital.
Headed straight for the southern casino.
William was driving, seeing several newly erected buildings in the south along the way, he couldn’t help
but exim, “River City has really developed rapidly in the past two years, the city construction is quite
fast.”
I nodded, somewhat absent-minded.
Rachel had an identst night, and I don’t know how she is now.
“Little sister, I heard that the Conner Group is currently facing some problems,” William, who was
driving, nced at me and said.
I still nodded, afraid he would think I was perfunctory, I opened my mouth and uttered a “hmm”.
Seeing this, he didn’t say anything more either.
I sped up all the way and drove the car directly to the suburbs.
Watching the car leave the city, I was full of doubts. Just as I was about to speak, my phone in my
pocket rang. It was Lucas calling,
As soon as the call connected, I quickly spoke into the phone, “Lucas, do we have any leads?”

Lucas on the other end of the phone grunted in acknowledgment, saying into the phone, “The police
station has been tracking Henry’s movements for several days, and we suspect he might be in a casino
in the south. However, we’re not certain, as the situation in that casino is unique. The police station
can’t tantly go in to look for people, we can only try to blend in and see. I’ve arranged for police to
stake out other locations. Ms. Conner, rest assured, if your person is indeed with Henry, we will
definitely help you get them back.”
I nodded, facing the phone, repeatedly expressing my thanks.
After hanging up the phone, I was momentarily puzzled. From what Lucas had said, it seemed that the
station had no immediate ns to take action against Henry. But why?
A political fugitive who had been on the run, has now returned to his country, yet no one ns to take
action against him. It’s unreasonable!
Couldn’t figure out the reason behind this.
I sighed deeply.
Seeing me sigh, William nced at me andforted, “Don’t worry, I’ve dealt with Henry a few times.
Although he’s ruthless, we’re still in our own country, and he knows his limits. He wouldn’t dare to mess
around.”
I nodded, but my heart was still filled with worry.
Seeing the car continue to drive forward, I couldn’t help but ask, “Why is this casino in such a remote
ce?” I estimated that we had already traveled quite a distance from the city.
William nodded, saying, “Although it’s called a casino, it’s actually just a ce where some of the
wealthy people in River City gather for fun. It’s located in a remote area, mainly for the sake of
tranquility.”

After passing several mountains, I vaguely saw a few castles. William drove very fast, and when we
reached a fork in the road, he turned the car onto a side road.
Subsequently, the car arrived in front of a vi. After he rolled down. the car window, a handsome man
in a suit and leather shoes ran out from the vi. He bent over and greeted William, “Hello sir, is there
anything I can assist you with?”
Williamn grunted, handing the man a business card and several red banknotes, saying, “I need to go to
the Heart Ind.”
The well-dressed man in a suit didn’t rush to take the money. Instead, he took the gold-rimmed
business card handed over by William, looked at it carefully, and showed a bit of surprise on his face.
He said to William, “Oh, it’s Mr. Hinton. Please wait a moment, I’ll go to the front desk to register, and I’ll
be right back.”
He then jogged into the vi, and about three to five minutester, the man in the suit and leather
shoes came out, respectfully looking at William and said, “Mr. Hinton, you can drive straight down.”
William nodded, his face still wearing a gentle smile. He handed the money in his hand to the man and
said, “You’ve worked hard.”
The car was then started, and the man was directing by the side of the car. A door opened in a ce
like a garage next to the vi. William drove the car in. I thought it was time to park and was preparing
to get out of the car, but William said, “No rush!”
After seeing him drive the car into the garage, the man in the suit and leather shoes waved at my door
to say goodbye, and then the garage door was closed again.
Before I could figure out what was happening, I felt the car seemed to be slowly descending, and I
looked at William with some anxiety

William nced at me and said with a faint smile, “Don’t worry, after getting off, we still have to drive.
This is an elevator.”
I was somewhat taken aback, the fact that this elevator could amodate a car was truly surprising.
About four or five minutester, I finally felt ite to aplete
stop. Then, with a swoosh, a door in front of the car opened.
