Barely in the early evening, the sun was being shadowed by the magnificent new red moon. This was the blood eclipse, when the crimson moon shadowed the sky completely, making the sky appear in a hue of beautiful crimson.
Awn n…Awn n…
A baby’s cry was heard in a room. Suddenly, two hands approached, wrapping the baby in a silky silver towel. As the baby opened its eyes, he revealed his innocent dark grey pupils to the onlookers.
The room was huge. The walls were painted in pale jade, and the curtains were royal blue. Radiated with the lights of the mud lamps and Glass flourished hue, that room was enriched with luxury.
Just as the baby cried for the second time, the one holding him gently glanced towards the big bed beside her left on which a woman was lying Exhausted with untidy hair and a sleepy face.
The woman wore a golden-red saree, but everything on the bed was messy. Beside that woman, on the floor, there was a big silver tub with vaporizing lukewarm water that released a silver hue.
“So, beautiful boy. His eyes look as halo as space, yet it feels like full of galaxies.”
“So handsome,”
“His looks just like Lord Adideva.”
Several women’s voices rang above the baby as the baby was gently looking at the unfamiliar ladies. The woman, who was barely asleep on the bed, slowly opened her exhausted eyes at the very next moment. From her face, it was evident that she was exhausted and desperately needed some rest, but the voices of those women around her woke her up.
But even so, she didn’t say anything as the women were admiring none other than her newborn son.
“My Lady,” Just as the women saw their mistress opening her eyes, they gently spoke their heart with admiration. “your son is as handsome as Keshava.”
“My son." With eager hands, the baby’s mother raised her hands high, and her first maid, Sunita, who was holding the baby, gave the woman her child back very gently as if she was holding a wet mud doll that could break if shaken.
“You are right, Sunita, he exactly looks like Keshava.” The baby’s mother admired him with her soft eyes.
Moving aside to the right side of the bed, Sunita took the hairbrush that was on the table and began brushing her lady’s hair. She said, “Lord will soon be here; his victory over the enemy at our border was announced when you were asleep. It was already a happy situation before, and now when he sees our second prince, it will be wholesome.”
Carrying her baby as if she were holding a lotus, the baby’s mother spoke, “Indeed, I cannot explain the joy he’ll feel upon knowing this grand news of having another son. He’ll surely be surprised. But more than his amusement, I want to see how my son and daughter will react upon getting the news of their youngest sibling’s arrival.”
“The Lord is heard.”
Hearing the sudden announcement, the woman with her baby gently stood on her legs on the marble floor with a faint smile. Although she experienced some exhaustion after giving birth, she still was strong enough to stand and remained wilful.
The door of the room gently opened and revealed a man standing tall in red-golden garments with a mountain-like body. He wore the traditional royal loincloth sewed with golden-silver-red thread alike. His upper body had minimal clothing but jewelry all around.
This man was excluding the aura of a mighty warrior and he had several scars on his body too as if he had gotten those from battling the mightiest foes. But apart from this the most powerful thing he wore was neither his aura nor his scars, but the red jeweled golden crown that was on his head indicating his superior status as the king of the land.
Handsome, young-looking, and manly, this man with the crown over his head was the Crown king of the Aryavartha Kingdom, King Parthava. As soon as the door was opened, King Parthava gave the mother of the baby a soft glance. His eyes remained gently, then slowly, as his eyes met the baby’s face, he was dumbfounded.
“Is that?” he mumbled. His words didn’t escape his lips, but his eyes gave out his words with tremble.
“Yes, he is our second little prince.” The baby’s mother replied.
“My second son.” “My Queen, you have again given me the reason for the extreme joy. Thank you.”
The woman who stood in front of King Parthava with their child was the crown Queen of the Aryavartha Kingdom, Queen Yagyaseni.
…
Looking at his newborn Son, King Parthava smiled happily, his eyes ached with happiness as he couldn’t express his happiness by just mere words but only tears. Clearing Her husband’s joy-filled droplets, Queen Yagyaseni muttered, “It''s sooner than I expected, but I think we need to come up with some names for our child.”
“Yes, I will announce our child’s birth to our people this evening, and we will hold his naming ceremony two days later on the auspicious day of Shivaratri, until then, please take a good rest.” King Parthava Replied.
Looking at Sunita before leaving the room, King Parthava requested her to take care of her lady, and Sunita, like a true first maid pledged her service with a bit of exaggeration of life and death which even cringed the expressions of the royal couple.
Later that day, the triumph of King Parthava’s victory against evil bandits reverbed in the castle. However soon the grand announcement of Aryavartha Kingdom’s second prince''s birth echoed in the whole kingdom inside out. This story has been stolen from Royal Road. As soon as the people of Aryavartha were aware of this wonderful news, it showered them with joy. But for some people, this remained a bit tense, as the birth of the second prince was still too early, as he was born prematurely at the seventh month and not nine.
Soon the news of the newborn child had spread in the whole lands like wildfire. Powerful people, nobles, and royals alike soon began sending greetings and gifts to the newly born who was yet to be named. And soon the day arrived when the newborn baby would get his first new auspicious name, the event of the Naming ceremony.
…
Many people in the numbers of millions had gathered around a place. All of them sat on the slightly warm red silk carpet, which was placed on the white marble floor. The climate remained cool, yet warm enough to feel comfortable, and the sun was just hueing in light orange from the east as it began to emerge from the horizon.
The sky remained cloudy, as the rays of the sun were visible to everyone’s eyes due to cloud intervention. The people were very focused and were gazing focally at the center, where seven pillars stood tall in a massive circle, the Yagna Chamber.
Those seven cylindrical pillars were saffron-brown and had several silver mantras, spells, and mystical symbols carved on them from top to bottom.
With each pillar at the back, at the front, a man sat, and together all the seven men were in front of a big circular flame pit that was flaming in scarlet flames.
Those seven men with honey tones wore amber-colored loincloths and had blueberry beads as their chains and bracelets on their upper exposed bodies. Light clothing with blueberry beads—those seven men were the Saptarishis, the seven holy saints.
Right at a stair down the Yagna chamber where the Saptarishis were doing their yagna, there was an open stage where all the powerful people sat on their feet; most of the people sitting there looked powerful and held high status. From their garments to their aura and even their looks, everything about those people looked nothing less than nobles. But no matter how big their status, they all sat with the common people on their feet on the same carpet.
On that very particular stage, there sat King Parthava and Queen Yagyaseni with her newborn child facing the east at the sun, right at the frontal central side. They had dressed gorgeously in golden with all the royal jewels and the newborn was garmented entirely in silver gold, wrapped in a silky red shawl.
This was the naming ceremony of the newly-born prince. This event was taking place in the Tridevi Temple in the Asatramani Puram, a city located in the far east of the Aryavartha kingdom.
Boom!
The silver flames suddenly rose and reached the very zenith in the sky with a reddish hue. Looking at the flames in their mightiest form, the Saptarishis smiled and began chanting the divine mantras of the trinity.
With each mantra the Saptarishis recited, the atmosphere began to turn holy. As the recitals echoed, the clouds faded, clearing the sky for the mighty sun to shine.
Suddenly, looking towards the sky, the Saptarishis calmly stood; followed by, King Parthava and Queen Yagyaseni with their newborn child.
“King Parthava and Queen Yagyaseni, the gods have chosen the mighty name for the newly born prince. Your prince shall get the divine blessing from the trinities.”
Looking at the flames, all the Saptarishis in sync said. “Born during the night when the Rudra Chandra shone high with Rohini, he will be blessed with kinetic energy. Took his first breath in the divine Ardra constellation with the Kshatriya blood and Narayani gotra, he will be like lord Hareshwara with the sword of purification, destroying evil. This Son of yours who has the qualities of lord Shiva will be known to the world as Shivas…!”
Shivas! Shivas! Shivas!
The newborn’s new name reverbed throughout heaven and earth. Instantly, the flames in the pit spread towards the sky with excessive radiance. The sky itself turned dark, and divine energy circulated in the air, gathering at the fire and turning it into silver flames.
Looking at the silver flames, the people gathered around the place stood up automatically. They all looked astonished as if they were witnessing something godly. The royals and the commoners alike smiled and focused on the flames with an expression of shock and surprise.
Suddenly, the extension of the silver flames flew up in the sky, magnificently turning into a gorgeous 108-petaled silver lotus hued in pure silver-white radiance blinding everyone except for the newborn. Looking ahead at the supreme lotus floating in the sky, the baby Shivas spread his hands towards it as if he wanted to hold it.
However, unexpectedly, in the very next moment, the flaming lotus moved with lightning speed, dissolving into the air into the eyes of the baby. Just as the lotus faded mysteriously into Shivas’s eyes, the atmosphere reclaimed its calmed nature and everyone was freed from the blinding glow automatically.
Everyone in the temple anticipated something out of the ordinary thing to witness, but nothing happened. However, the only thing that was not ordinary was the golden-red trident-shaped lotus mark on the forehead of the newly named Shivas.
Swish!
The divine energy of the Tridevi temple shook for a second, gathered at the yagna chamber. Bright silver hues surrounded the baby Shivas as he began to levitate into the air graciously in the very next second, surprising everyone.
“What is going on, my son?”
Just as the strange phenomenon began, the trident lotus mark on Shivas’s forehead shone with great radiance.
Boom!
In a blink, a gigantic red ring with majestic artwork took its shape in the air by encircling the baby Shivas, who was glowing as pure as a sliver like the mighty sun in space. That mysterious red ring that materialized seemed as if it was made up of a bright red shade like the red ruby. It was three layered with exclusive lotus petals as its five directional edges, at every five corners, the ring had a red lotus symbol with a crimson-silver edge.
Uncountable eyes began to widen, several faces got intense, and millions of lips tensed as the strange red ring took its stunning shape, revealing itself as the Muldhara Chakra Ring, the first and the root ring of all beings who take part in the way of cultivation.
“That’s! That’s the Muldhara ring!”
Several voices echoed loudly in the temple with a hint of shock. And it would be weirder if those voices remained normal; after all, no one in this world had ever summoned the root chakra ring without any training or leveling up, and the one who summoned the chakra ring was just a two-day-old newborn baby.
“Just a baby had achieved the root Muldhara chakra ring of origin.! How absurdly magnificent is that.”
Those words came from the man who was in complete blue attire and stood tall on the left of King Paartha. This noble-looking man is the ruler of the Asatramani Puram and also the younger brother of King Paartha, Second Crown King, Sudhan.
"That, my brother!” “Yes, that’s our little brother.”
Instantly, two voices echoed simultaneously beside King Sudhan. The first sweet voice came from the girl who looked around the age, not above nine, and was in a completely dark navy lehenga with goldish stitchings. The second boyish voice came from the boy who stood right behind Queen Yagyaseni, who wore a jade green garment and also looked thirteen years old.
These two are the first prince and the first princess of the Aryavartha Kingdom, the two children of King Paartha and Queen Yagyaseni, Prince Madhuver and Princess Yoghya.
The strange phenomenon left everyone speechless. Most of them were stunned to realize that a newborn did what even a grown man would find difficult.
