Introduction: Oakleaf Gilderwood is the world's greatest master of healing magic, on a planet dominated by constant military conflict. Plucked unaware from his life in present day England, James Blair finds himself in a world more resembling the table top battle games he plays, than the United Kingdom homeland he is familiar with. Separated from friends, family, and any of the conventions of his everyday life, James must survive the conflict he finds himself a part of, and then somehow find a way back to his former life in Scotland.     Expect action, plot twists, humor and unconventional problem solving, in a medieval world  more focused on magic than technology.
