Razag is born with a pathetic pool of mana. For most species this would merely be unfortunate, but for dragons? Well, it would be a death sentence for most, left without their species's most overwhelming advantage. Razag is not most dragons. He has a trump card so formidable that even this crippling disability can't balance the scales. He was born with a fully developed mind, able to think before even hatching. Unfortunately, without a way to communicate this, he has no way to prove to the adult dragons deliberating over his fate that he isn't a liability. And without that key piece of knowledge, they decide that the best choice would be to drop him off in the forest, so that their hands are clean of blood. They even decide to give him part of the key to a seemingly omniscient System, as if to reassure themselves. Razag takes advantage of this opportunity, following the path to power the System promises. An easy one, as long as the mountains of bodies he leaves in his wake are high enough. This is my first story, so I would love to have any suggestions on how to improve it! I have fairly thick skin, so anyone willing to critique may go as harsh as they want. Starting May 3rd, the update schedule will be a chapter a week on Saturdays at 10:00 AM. Any announcements on a change of schedule will be on the lower author's note of a chapter.I graphically depict gore, so be warned about that. It isn't in every chapter, but it's close.Credit and thanks to Wong40k for the cover of book 1.
