1809 New Visitors


    Sam didn’t know what n leader 1 is talking about.


    But he is not really worried about it.


    There are only limited actions a person could take as a counter to Sam’s approach. There is no need for him to worry as long as the actions of the n leader fall under those categories.


    He can navigate through all of this.


    While the n leaders stopped their search and started reporting to n leader 1, Sam started making his next move.


    He appeared in one of the segments where the n leaders already ced a formation.


    As soon as he appeared there, the formation is triggered. The n leader nearby stopped with the report and immediately made his move.


    “He is within my territory. Join me quickly.”


    It didn’t take long for the n leader toe to the area where Sam was in, but Sam already disappeared before he could see.

    Sam came back to the room and looked at the confused n leader through the projection and smiled.


    He then activated one of the formation discs he ced. This disc is also ced in a segment adjacent to the first one he visited.


    The formation revealed a projection of Sam. A pure hologram and it projected Sam jumping from one building to another. While the formation is active, Sam used the dimensional drifter to appear in the same segment as the hologram, triggering the rm.


    When the n leader in charge of the segment heard this, he immediately became alert. The first thing that appeared in his sight though is actually the holographic projection of Sam.


    Meanwhile, Sam carefully concealed himself and set up another inscription in an empty alleyway within the same segment.


    He disappeared after he is done and reappeared in the room. He turned off the formation disc.


    He repeated the same thing again and again.


    He activated a formation before he appeared in a segment, triggered the rm and when the other party is confused with the hologram, Sam justid down the inscription in a corner of the same segment.


    Even n leader 1 who was calm and collected until now was driven crazy by this.


    He didn’t understand what Sam is doing. All he is doing is just making the n leaders run around a bit. As for destroying everything in a segment as soon as Sam appeared, it ispletely out of their question.


    n leader 1 explicitly stated that no matter what happens, there shouldn’t be any loss of life of the citizens. He is very particr about this.


    Of course, the other n leaders would have liked it if they didn’t have to care about them. They would have just destroyed the whole segment with a wide-range attack. Then things would have been simpler.


    Even if Sam is not dead, they would still injure him, increasing their chances of capture.


    Meanwhile, the three-hour time limit is over.


    But Sam didn’t change the location once again. He just stayed there waiting for the rest of the n leaders toe.


    With this cycle, all the twenty-five n leaders would have had a single chance to capture Sam and Maya, because they managed to get their locations. After another three hours, a new fresh random set of five n leaders will get the information once again.

    They all started pushing n leader 1 to evacuate the citizens and after that much pressure, he couldn’t do much.


    He immediately ordered the citizens to evacuate and retreat into the n grounds.


    He even sent away some of the weaker guard members. While he is directing that, the other three n alliance members came looking for n leader 1.


    “We got the news of Sam’s location that he is in this city.”


    n leader 1 frowned and said.


    “Of course, I know that you got the news.”


    “No, that’s not what I meant. We got the news again, a few minutes ago.”


    “What do you mean? Why would you get the news again?”


    “We don’t know. But we feel like there might be a pattern here. What happened when you got the news? Did you get any relevant information from Magman?”


    n leader 1 frowned and thought for a moment and he suddenly realized something.


    “Magman n leader and four other n leaders also got the news just like we did, but they got the news way before we did and they were ambushed by Sam in the abandoned cave tunnels.

    “So, how long is it before we got the news?”


    “I think you guys got it just after three hours we got and now almost three hourster, you guys got the news again. And the judging by how many people got the news at the time…”

    Sam didn’t wait while they are doing this, instead, he kept on repeating the same thing again and again. Within thirty minutes, he managed to repeat the action fifteen times and he didn’t stop there. As for evacuating the inn, no one bothered to do that.


    Same with the buildings very close to the n grounds’ entrance.


    Even the n leaders believed, they will catch Sam easily if he is there since at least two n leaders are present in the area all the time.


    Meanwhile, the new batch of n leaders already arrived.


    There are only three of them of course. Now there are a total of thirteen n leaders in one ce.


    n leader 1 used his tongue to make them agree to join in the whole thing. While these negotiations are happening, Sam didn’t trigger a single rm, which kind of made all the existing n leaders a bit suspicious.


    The three new n leaders of course didn’t really care that much as they didn’t experience Sam’s cat-and-mouse y.


    “With your presence here, things would be much simpler. We are just about to take the hard approach right now. You are going to be assigned some segments. Whenever an rm is triggered because of Sam’s presence, attack without hesitation.


    The only precaution you need to take is to make sure that he doesn’t die on the spot.”


    n leader 1 sent the new three n leaders to different segments and of course, he let a n leader each apany them.


    He thought that since they were directly making a big move, it would be easy to capture Sam.


    But little did he know, Sam is actually waiting for this exact moment and his attention is focused on the projection in his room.


    He looked as if one of the old n leaders is bringing one of the new n leaders to a segment that he already rigged with multiple inscriptions.


    Sam looked at Maya who is also keenly observing what is happening.


    She watched as Sam crazily jumped back and forth. She didn’t understand what he was doing. But judging from the expression right now, she could fairly say that Sam is finally about to do something that she might understand.


    Sam smiled and said.


    “This is going to be fun.”


    As he said, he shot an energy beam straight into the projection, triggering one of the inscriptions that heid down in the segment.


    At that exact moment, in the city segment, he targeted, the old n leader is exining how the rm works to the new n leader.


    The new n leader is attentively listening to it. But all of a sudden, he felt a sense of dread creeping up his heart.
