Violet wished so much that she could find a crack in the ground to hide when she heard Ethan''s
question.
After a long while, she braced up and said through gritted teeth, "Yep."
Ethan''s expression became vague when he heard Violet''s answer.

involved could see things clearly.
Faye was an outsider who was appreciating the tension between the three. She looked down at the

Ethan chatted with Violet about the case for a while. He received a call and then left.
With a gentle smile, Violet saw Ethan off. Then she turned around, looked into Saylor''s eyes, and said
with a fake smile, "Don''t leave. I want to talk with you."
Saylor reached out to wrap his arm around Violet''s shoulders and then said in a pretentious voice,
"Violet, why are you angry?"
Violet was rendered speechless. She took two deep breaths to suppress her anger and replied, "I''m

She then sent Violet back to the hospital. Faye didn''t go upstairs to Violet''s ward. She directly made a
U-turn and left.
After driving for a distance, Faye nced at the rearview mirror nonchntly and found Violet was
hitting Saylor with her crutch.

When Faye went back home, she found Robert was reporting to Colin in the study.
When she walked into the living room, Carlotta took out a cup of yogurt from the kitchen and then
handed it to her.
Faye took the yogurt and took a sip of it. Carlotta asked with anticipation, "How does it taste?"
Faye replied, "Great. It tastes better than those I bought in the supermarket. Aunt, where did you buy
this?"
Carlotta''s smile widened when she heard Faye''s praise. She exined, "I made it."
Faye raised her brows when she heard the answer and said, "It tastes very delicious."
Carlotta said, "Then I''ll make more. You may take some to yourpany when you go to work
tomorrow."
Faye didn''t refuse it. She said with a smile, "Okay. Thank you, aunt."
After the conversation with Carlotta, Faye walked upstairs with the cup of yogurt.
When she walked past the study, she heard some cracking sounds from the inside.
Faye knitted her brows and subconsciously stopped in her track.
Then there came Robert''s voice as he asked, "Mr. Farrell, what should we do next?"
Colinughed scornfully and said in a cold voice, "I will ept the trap he set for me. He wants
investment, right? I''ll y with him with ten million dors."
Robert replied, "Okay."
Colin continued, "Don''t dy it for too long. Remember to pull in our so that our fish won''t escape."
Robert replied, "Understood."
Colin was silent for a while. Then he asked, "Did Hank do anything recently?"
Robert replied, "Nope. He buried Tiffany carelessly after finding a tomb for her. He didn''t even hold a
funeral for her."
Colin slightly raised his brows and said, "It''s not like his way of doing things."
Robert replied, "That''s true. By the way, two days ago, Hank moved out all things in the Farrells''
Mansion. It seemed like he had fallen out with Brandon."
Colin sneered and said, "It''s rare for him to be so fearless."
Robert said in a lower voice, "Mr. Farrell, if Hank and Brandon had a head-on confrontation, what
should we..."
Colin teased, "Does it have anything to do with us?"
Robert understood what he meant andmented, "We can watch their fights."
Colin smiled sarcastically and said, "Probably they''re useless."
Robert didn''t say anything.
After a while, Robert walked out of the study. When he opened the door, he found Faye standing at the
door.
Robert was dumbfounded for a while. Then he greeted, "Mrs. Farrell."
Faye smiled gracefully and asked, "Finished?"
Robert replied, "Yep."
Faye smiled at him and then walked into the study with the cup of yogurt.
Robert was frozen when he saw the smile on Faye''s words. He thought to himself, "Mrs. Farrell has
changed a lot."
When Robert was lost in thoughts, Colin shot a cold nce at him.
Robert shivered and came back to his sense. He hurriedly closed the door and left.
