Chapter 511 Turn to a Coward
Chapter 511 Turn to a Coward
Colin looked at Abbot.
The two looked at each other in the rearview mirror.
Abbot thought Colin wouldfort him as his buddy.
Unexpectedly, Colin said with a faint smile, "You really disturbed me."
"Then shall I go?" Abbot asked.
"Now that you''ve made up your mind, I won''t keep you. Get out of the car. We''ll wait for you at
Marriott," said Colin.
Hearing Colin''s words, Abbot was speechless. "I still don''t understand why I chose to be friends with
you back then."
Colin answered seriously, "Birds of a feather flock together."
More than an hourter, they arrived at Marriott.
Reba came earlier than them. When Faye, Colin, and Abbot entered the hall, she was leaning
against the front desk and asking the receptionist about Matthew''s emotional life.
The receptionist was in a dilemma. "I''m sorry, Ms. ck, I don''t know Mr. Waylon''s private life."
Reba blinked, "Have you ever seen him bring a woman here?"
The receptionist smiled awkwardly, "I... I don''t know."
Reba smiled, "It''s okay. Just tell me the truth."
The receptionist was embarrassed. When she was troubled, she saw Faye. She immediately greeted
them with a smile, "Mr. Farrell, Mrs. Farrell. Mr. Carter."
When Reba heard the first two names, her expression didn''t change.
However, when she heard the receptionist say Mr. Carter, she was stunned. Her smile froze, and her
expression became unnatural.
"Ms. ck, Mrs. Farrell is here," said the receptionist.
"I heard it," said Reba.
She turned her head stiffly and forced a smile at Faye. "Why did it take you so long?"
Faye smiled, "There''s a traffic jam."
Seeing that Faye was talking to Reba, Colin patted the back of her hand and said, "Let Abbot push
me. You can talk to Reba."
Colin said and looked at Abbot.
With a fake smile, Abbot took the wheelchair from Faye.
Faye smiled, "Thank you."
"You''re wee," said Abbot.
Then Faye walked up to Reba.
Reba naturally held her arm and whispered, "Why didn''t you tell me that Abbot was also here?"

Faye smiled, "Haven''t you made it clear to each other?"
Reba said, "Then I still need some time to settle it down. What if he hasn''t given up on me?"
"Are you afraid that Abbot hasn''t given up on you, or are you afraid that you haven''t given up on him
yourself?" Faye asked.
Reba red at Faye. "Of course I''m afraid that he hasn''t given up!"
Faye teased her, "Since you are so afraid, why do you still cooperate with him? Besides, I heard that
there seems to be something wrong with your factory. It was Abbot who helped you solve it."
After Faye finished, Reba mumbled, "These are two things. I can''t give up money for dignity."
Faye said meaningfully, "I see."
Reba was speechless.
Just as she didn''t know what to say, Abbot pushed Colin to her back and said in a low voice, "Don''t
stand here. Let''s talk in the box."
Reba hadn''t expected Abbot to appear behind her suddenly, so she blushed with guilt.
Abbot nced at her flushed face and pushed Colin away.
Looking at Abbot''s receding figure, Reba patted her chest.
A few minutester, the four of them appeared in the private room.
Abbot moved a chair away, pushed Colin to the table, stepped on the brake, and teased, "Perfect. Save
a chair."
Colin raised his eyebrows and asked, "What? Do I have to pay for the chairs here alone?"
Abbot replied, "No. I just think the wheelchair is convenient."
Colin said, "If you like it, you can sit in it more often when you go out."
Abbot refused, "No. I''d like to see you in it."
As soon as he finished speaking, Colin smiled meaningfully. He turned his head to look at Reba.
"Ms. ck, I heard that you are interested in Matthew?"
Reba had just taken a sip of tea. Hearing Colin''s words, she choked and coughed violently.
Faye fetched a tissue and gave it to her, patting her back.
Reba took the paper from Faye, wiped her mouth, and looked at Abbot subconsciously.
Abbot leaned against the seat and looked at her calmly.
All of a sudden, the condition that Abbot offered to pay for her came to Reba''s mind. "Don''t fall in
love before you pay the money."
Reba gritted her teeth and said against her conscience, "Of course not."
Colin, "Hmm?"
Reba replied, "I was just kidding with Faye."
After saying that, she continued to drink tea with her head down.
Seeing that Reba denied it, Colin looked at Abbot.
Abbot calmly picked up the teapot and refilled his cup.
Colin chuckled and said in a voice only he and Abbot could hear, "I didn''t expect you to be so good."
"I learned it from you," said Abbot.
On the other side, Reba bit the teacup and looked at Faye with a sad face.
Faye smiled, "What do you want to say?"
Reba said, "Love can''t make me happy, and money can''t make me independent."
