    Chapter 445 Witness

Rex didn''t deny Colin''s proposal of going in with Faye.

When the two were about to enter the lobby, the police kept reminding them to be careful.

Faye and Colin then walked into the hotel. As soon as they stepped into the lobby, they saw the waiter

who was tied up. Rex was sitting on the ground beside the waiter and smoking a cigarette spiritlessly.

Rex''s face was covered with blood stains and this made him look horrifying.

He took a deep breath when he spotted Faye, threw away his cigarette, stamped it out, and then curled

up his lips into a smile, greeting, "Ms. Nash."

Faye looked at him with a frown and asked, "Are you all right?"

Rex was dumbfounded for a moment. Then he replied with a smile, "I thought you would directly ask

me why I killed Ralph when you saw me."

Faye said, "I know the reason."

    He did that for Fanny.

Rex and Ralph didn''t have any grudges before and there wouldn''t be any reasons behind this except

    for Fanny.

Rex said in a husky voice when he heard Faye''s words, "You deserve to be Fanny''s friend."

Faye''s heart skipped a beat when she heard the words.

Rex reached out, took his cigarette case out of his pocket again, and put a cigarette into his mouth. He

said, "You may not know that Fanny and I fell in loveter than that matter."

Shocked, Faye slightly pressed her lips.

Rex bowed his head to light the cigarette, but his hands were trembling and he failed after trying

several times. In the end, Colin strode forward, took a lighter out of his pocket, lit the cigarette, and

    then gave it to Rex.

Rex looked up and thanked him, "Thank you, Mr. Farrell."

Colin said, "I admire your manliness."

Rex replied with a smile, "I''ve been living cowardly for half of my life."

Faye had never expected that Fanny would have a rtionship with Rex.

    Property of N?)(velDr(a)ma.Org.

They were quite different. In Faye''s impression, it was impossible for the two to entangle with each

    other.

Rex read through Faye''s mind. He took several long drags on the cigarette, yet was then choked by the

smoke. He said while coughing, "I-I didn''t expect that we would fall in love either."

After that, he took a nce at the panicked waiter and said, "Don''t be afraid. I won''t hurt you. I''ll

release you after finishing my words."

The waiter had tears in his eyes. As he was gagged by Rex, he couldn''t say anything and could only

    nod crazily.

Afterforting the waiter, Rex turned around to look at Faye and said, "Ms. Nash, you''re the only

friend of Fanny. Since no one knows I and Fanny''s rtionship, I want you to be the witness of our

    love."

Rex smiled bitterly and continued, "Otherwise, I''m afraid that no one in this world knows that we were

    lovers."

Faye said, "Tell me your story. I''m listening."

Rex took a drag on the cigarette and blew a smoke ring, saying, "I was into Fanny earlier than she took

    fancy to me."

    Faye slightly pressed her lips.

Rex continued, "She''s a stupid girl. She actually dared to trust a person wholeheartedly in this

    sophisticated showbiz."

Rex spoke incoherently. It seemed as if he was expressing whatever he thought.

He told Faye that he chose Fanny in the beginning because he knew it was easy to control her as she

was not a local person, her parents had died, and she only had a maternal grandmother.

Much to his surprise, Fanny was such an honest girl that she even regarded him as her saver and took

    him as a living-saving straw.

Rexughed when mentioning this and asked, "Ms. Nash, do you know what I selected her for in the

    beginning?"

    Faye uncontrobly felt sad.

Rex didn''t intend to wait for Faye''s response. He continued, "I nned to let her sleep with those

investors to attract resources for thepany as she was somehow beautiful yet didn''t have a strong

    background."

Tears streamed down his cheeks when he wasughing.

    Faye remained silent.

To be honest, this approach was not something new in showbiz several years ago. It was very normal.

Rex had managed many stars and he had been thinking that it would be easiest to control Fanny

    among all his stars.

But he hadn''t expected that he would fall for her.

Rex told Faye that he first realized his special feelings for Fanny during a party. He brought her to that

party and let her drink with an investor. Originally, he nned to send her to that investor''s bed that

    night, but he could not.

He realized this again when he learned about Fanny and Ralph''s rtionship. On the one hand, he

was disappointed by Fanny; on the other hand, he envied Ralph crazily.

Rex told Faye about his story with Fanny from beginning to end.

From his bad intentions to his crazy crush, and their rtionship.

After finishing the story, Rex stood up, trampled on the cigarette butts around his feet, and then strode

to Faye and said, "Ms. Nash, please bury me and Fanny together after I die."

Faye felt as if she had gotten a lump in her throat that she couldn''t utter anything. After a long while,

she finally squeezed out a word, "Okay."

Rex then tilted his head to look at Colin and said, "I''ve been thinking about a question recently - If I''d

confessed to her earlier, probably she wouldn''t die."

Rex''s words were ambiguous, but Colin understood what he was referring to.

He wanted to say that if he had told Fanny earlier that he was not a talent manager, but a spy arranged

by Old Mr. Farrell in the Farrell Media and used his resources to get Fanny popr, probably Fanny

    wouldn''t die.

However, the world had everything but no "IF".

Rex walked out of the hotel after finishing those words.

    It was sunny outside.

Looking at Rex''s back, Faye suddenly thought of Rex''s description of the scenes when he confessed

    his love to Fanny.

He said that he braced up himself after drinking a bottle of alcohol and knocked at Fanny''s door. Then

he asked her with a pair of red eyes, "Can you be my girlfriend?"

He thought Fanny would be astonished or scolded him for being insane, but thetter only pressed her

lips and said, "If you can remember this after you sober up tomorrow, I''ll be your girlfriend."
