Chapter 356 Acting
After resolving these problems, Faye personally wrote a letter of apology for thepany failing to
restrain the artists'' behaviors.
She did not send it out immediately after it waspleted. Instead, she had waited for a few hours until
the matter had been fermented. When the public knew the truth and understood that the artists had
done so without thepany''s permission, she posted the letter of apology online.
Faye came out of thepany at eight pm. As soon as she got in the car, she received a call from
Reba.
Faye leaned back in the seat while rubbing her eyebrows and answered the call, saying, "Reba,
what''s up?"
Reba panted unsteadily on the phone and asked, "Where are you now?"
Faye asked, "Are you running?"
Reba let out a long sigh after standing still and replied, "No, I''m moving things!"
Faye asked in confusion, "What are you moving?"
Reba answered, "The gifts Abbot''s parents gave me!"
Faye paused for a second and asked, "Are you going to sell them?"
Hearing this, Reba was speechless for a moment and then said, "Am I that kind of person in your
eyes?"
Faye said truthfully, "Yes, you are."
Reba was at a loss for words, feeling heartbroken.
The sudden silence on the phone made Faye burst intoughter.
Hearing herugh, Reba gritted her teeth and said, "I want to break up with you!"
Faye smiled, "You can''t bear to break up with me."
Reba retorted, "Do you think I were Colin?"
Faye immediately changed the topic and asked, "Are you going to the Carters to return those gifts?"
Reba snorted, closed the trunk lid with a bang, and said, "Or else?"
Then, she got into the car, connected her phone to the Bluetooth hands-free car kit, and turned the
steering wheel.
Faye smiled, "Go ahead. Don''t worry, Abbot''s parents will not ept them."
Reba said while driving, "I''m giving them back sincerely!"
Faye started the car and responded with a smile, "OK, I believe you."
They then chatted while driving. After a while, Reba said solemnly, "Actually, it''s not bad now.
Otherwise, I would continue to be worried all day long. Since I saw Abbot beat peoplest time, I have
often had nightmares."
Fayeughed, "I did not expect you to be afraid of anymore."
Reba replied, "s, people must know their limitations."
Hearing his, Faye smiled and suddenly thought of what Colin had said. After thinking about it for a
while, she decided to remind Reba, so she asked, "Have you ever gotten dead drunk during the
business trip with Abbot?"
Reba said, "How do you know?"
Faye euphemistically said, "Abbot told Colin about it."

Reba failed to take her hint, so sheughed out loud, "It was funny that time. I drank too much and
ran to his room. And when I woke up in the morning, we stared at each other in shock."
Hearing this, Faye kept silent for a few seconds then said, "You drank too much that day, and..."
Before she could finish her words, Reba interrupted, "I must hang up now. I''ve arrived at the
Carters."
Then, she hung up the phone without waiting for Faye''s reply.
Reba parked the car in front of the vi of the Carters, found Abbot''s number in the address book,
and dialed it.
When the call was answered, she said tteringly, "Mr. Carter, I''m here to return the gifts. Could you
pleasee out to help me?"
Abbot said in a displeased voice, "You don''t have to return them. Go back!"
Reba said, "I want to return the gifts in good faith. What''s more, I''ve arrived..."
When she was muttering on the phone, she suddenly heard Cam ask, "Is that Ba? Ba came
here?"
Abbot said solemnly, "She is passing by and is about to leave now."
Cam said, "What''s the rush? Ba, don''t leave. Wait for me at the door."
Reba was speechless.
After a while, Cam walked out of the yard with a smile.
See her, Reba hurriedly pushed the door open, got out of the car, and said, "Mrs. Carter, good
evening."
Cam stepped forward, held her arm affectionately, and asked, "Ba, why don''t you go in?"
Reba liked her quite a bit because she was easy-going and unpretentious. So, she replied with a
smile, "I came here today to return the gifts. I''ve cleared up the misunderstandings with Mr. Carter."
Hearing this, Cam immediately realized what the misunderstanding was.
No wonder Abbot had been gloomy since he hade back today.
Cam guessed what had happened. However, instead of replying to Reba''s words, she took her
arm, walked inside, and said, "I need you to do me a favor tonight."
Reba said, "But those gifts are still in the trunk."
Cam continued, "Abbot''s aunt came here tonight with her future daughter-inw. She has been
showing off all night. You must help me outshine her."
Reba smiled awkwardly, "I''m afraid I can''t do you this favor."
Cam retorted, "Why can''t you help me? It is easy! You just need to pretend to be Abbot''s girlfriend."
Then, she led Reba into the vi, holding her hand. Before Reba could refuse, she introduced
her to a middle-aged woman sitting in the living room, saying, "This is Ba, Abbot''s girlfriend."
Then, she turned to look at Abbot on the single sofa and said, "What are you doing? Come here! Bring
Ba her seat!"
