Chapter 353 Tell the Truth When Drunk
When he was rubbing his fingers, Abbot seemed to be able to slightly feel how that woman felt that
night.
They were friends for many years, so Colin saw Abbot through at a nce. He smiled meaningfully and
uttered, "Abbot?"
Abbot raised his eyes and looked at Colin, saying, "Just mind your own business. Look how idle you
are. As the president of apany, you are even gossipier than a woman!"
With that, Abbot turned to push open the door of the room.
Then he pulled a chair casually and sat down.
Reba stole a nce at him subconsciously but looked away in no time. She held a cup with both
hands while sipping water.
Abbot''s gaze fell on her moving red lips. He frowned, and a bit of memory suddenly flooded his mind.
That night, Reba and he went back to the hotel after the dinner party with their clients.
Abbot fished out his room card and was about to open the door when Reba, who was wasted,
abruptly pushed her assistant away and made a dive for him.
Abbot was caught off guard. As Reba pounced on him from behind, he bumped his head into the
door with a flop.
Abbot fought down his anger and looked back. Reba''s assistant stood two feet away with a
reddened face and apologized to him. "Mr. Carter, I''m sorry, I''m sorry. Ms. ck can''t hold her liquor
tonight."
"Can''t hold her liquor tonight?
"Shepletely can''t hold her liquor anytime, okay?!" thought Abbot to himself.
The assistant scurried forward to help Reba up and uttered, "Ms. ck, you are drunk. Let me help
you back to your room and have a rest."
Reba was born to be rebellious. Hearing what her assistant said and being pulled, she got even
friskier in an opposing manner.
Originally, she simply grabbed the hem of Abbot''s shirt. Being dragged by her assistant, Reba
directly hugged Abbot''s waist from behind.
Her assistant was fraught and urged her, "Ms. Back, let Mr. Carter go, please!"
Reba didn''t release Abbot at all as she stated, "Silly as you are, I''m pretty and kind. I have a guilty
conscience to keep lying to you!"
With that, Reba loosened her hold on Abbot. She clenched a fist and thumped her chest with great
force.
Abbot was struck dumb.
Reba took a deep breath and seemed to have made up her mind, uttering, "Abbot."
Abbot frowned, reckoning that Reba was trying to confess her love to him. He then lowered his
voice and warned, "Reba, you''d better not make a scene when drunk. Your assistant is still here. I
don''t want to..."
Before Abbot finished, Reba stepped forward and stood on tiptoe to cover his mouth.
"Quiet!
"I''ve put up with you for a long time!
"If you keep speaking, I''m afraid I won''t be able to fight down my urge to p you!"
Reba hupped and nimbly snatched the room card from Abbot. She swiped the card and pushed
Abbot away before sashaying into the room directly.
Abbot was rendered speechless.
So was Reba''s assistant.
For a moment, it fell utterly silent. Abbot turned to look at the assistant.
Thetter cracked an awkward smile and uttered, "Mr. Carter, ha ha ha."
Abbot thought inwardly, "Is everybody in Reba''spany pea-brained?"
Abbot froze outside his room for about ten seconds before walking in. He looked towards Reba with
a frown, saying, "What do you want to say to me?"
Reba sat on the couch, kicked off her high heels, and looked out of the door cross-legged. "Can you
close the door?" said she mysteriously.

Her assistant standing outside the door was rendered wordless.
Perceiving the weird look in her assistant''s eyes, Abbot looked helpless. He walked up to Reba and
said to her in a voice that was only audible to them two, "Don''t go too far even if you''re in love with me!"
In the face of Abbot''s warning, Reba blinked with her head raised and uttered, "I don''t like you."
Abbot stated, "Come on, do you yourself believe that? Both Colin and Ethan know you like me."
Reba sat squarely and said, "They know I don''t like you."
Abbot uttered, "Reba, you..."
Before Abbot finished his words, Reba jumped to the floor barefoot, mmed the door shut, and
turned to look at Abbot. As she took her phone out of her pocket, she said solemnly, "I really don''t like
you. Let me show you some evidence."
With that, Reba opened the chat box with Colin on Messenger, took two steps forward, and handed
her phone to Abbot.
Abbot took it over with a frown, thinking Reba was being crazy when drunk. He just wanted to take
a nce at her phone to fob her off. To his surprise, that nce astonished him.
Abbot''s face got increasingly red. In the end, even his neck turned red with bulging veins.
Reba was so stered that she couldn''t notice Abbot''s rage. Getting no reply from him, she took
her phone back from his hand and switched to another chat box. "And look at this," said she.
Abbot was livid.
Reba continued aggravating Abbot by switching to the third chat box. "And this, Jaquelin''s
roommate."
Abbot gritted his teeth and huffed, "Reba."
Reba took half a step back with her phone and stared at Abbot, uttering, "Don''t yell at me. I''ve been
afraid of dogs since I was a child."
Abbot furiously walked up to her and grabbed Reba''s cor wanting to throw her out of the room.
Reba struggled. She hugged him and jumped up. With her hands around Abbot''s neck, she
wrapped her legs around his waist. Now, she looked like a ko bear on him.
With Reba holding him like that, Abbot was unable to move, and his face clouded over.
Reba looked at him drunkenly. After a long time, she said without thinking, "Abbot, I find that you
actually look very handsome."
After that, Reba swallowed. With a pause, she added, "Abbot, can I kiss you?"
