“Uncles, who are you, and where are we?” he asked, deliberately trying to be friendly. He sweetly added, “Uncles, you look so handsome.”
He called them “uncles’ with a honeyed voice.
ck Seven chuckled, “Little one, you’ve got a sweet mouth. Remember, we’re your uncles. If you stay here and wait for your mommy toe and ransom you, be a good boy, and we won’t do anything to you. Otherwise, we’ll deal with you. Out here in the wilderness, it’d be easy to get rid of a little brat like you.”
