Chapter 9 You Piece of Shit
“Kah, you bitch!”
Cecilia swept her makeup to the ground. She didn’t bother to act innocent and kind anymore right now.
Her face was twisted and full of anger.
She thought, I just wanted to teach her a lesson. When did she find someone to take photos of me
secretly? How dare she post them online? I am now humiliated among all my rich friends!
Kah, you bitch! I knew it! You looked so weak and ipetent before. It was nothing but an act!
I shouldn’t have let Hendry marry you in the first ce. I should have kicked you out long ago!
Right now, all theizens are discussing me, and some of them have begun to pry into my private life.
My nasty past will be dug out soon.
Cecilia finally panicked. She picked up her phone and called Alondra.
“Alondra, I tweeted, because you told me to. And now everyone is cursing me. You have to help me
make it go away, or I will be humiliated forever!”
“Cecilia, calm down. I’ll take care of this.”
Alondra also hated Kah’s guts. After Kah posted, Cecilia’s reputation was ruined, and Alondra
was regarded as a home wrecker. Alondra thought, I have been working so hard to maintain a kind
persona. And now it’s about to be ruined as well.
Of course, I have to do something to stop that from happening. And I have to appease Cecilia, the
stupid woman.
Cecilia is greedy and selfish. I want to win Hendry’s favor. That’s why I haven’t neglected her
totally.
Alondra’s words calmed Cecilia down. Cecilia then said with great resentment, “Damned Kah. Is
there anything you can do to get back at her? She humiliates us. This isn’t over!”
Alondra couldn’t agree more. She immediately echoed, and they started to discuss possible ways to
whitewash themselves and nder Kah.
Alondra thought, I have to hurry up and fix this before Hendry knows about this.
Meanwhile, Hendry had just ended an important international conference.
He returned to the office wearily.
“Haven’t you found her yet?” he asked his assistant irritably.
The assistant replied, “Mr. Thodore said that she rejected thepensation and could not be
reached after that.”
Leonardo Thodore was thewyer.
“Rejected?” Hendry was obviously stunned.
He thought, thepensation I offered isn’t that much, but it’s still worth a lot. Kah rejects it just like
that? Is it because she has enough money or she has found someone else?

He thought, I can live with the fact that she has money. However, if she has found another man, it
means she belittles me.
His tone became even colder as he said, “I don’t care if she wants it or not. I insist onpensating

The assistant smiled awkwardly, “But she just wouldn’t ept it, and we couldn’t reach her

“How can that be? Don’t you have her number?”
“She is not at home now, and when we called her private number, her phone had been turned off,

Hendry’s expression changed slightly. Only then did he remember that Kah had nevere to the

He had a strange feeling. He wondered, did I ignore her too much?
Hendry did not say anything. He took out his phone with a long face. After logging onto Line, he
searched through his contact list for a long time before finding Kah’s ount.
The dialog box was very brief, and there were only words sent by Kah. He never replied to her.
Maybe he chose to neglect them, or maybe he simply didn’t care.
With mixed feelings, he sent her a voice call request. He thought that he had to wait for a while before
she picked up, yet to his surprise, she picked up at once.
He barely had time to be smug about the fact that she still cared about him before he heard Kah’s
cold voice.
