Zhenyi came out of her car and entered the skyscraper where the Long Groups main office is located or the ce where she would find her dear husband.


    Like that day, she directly went up to Long Jie''s floor by using the ess card which he had given her after they got married. Simrly, he had an ess card for her office floor too.


    Once she reached the presidential department, she directly said to the receptionist, "I''m here to meet President Long."


    The receptionist saw a tall and extremely gorgeous woman, dressed in a fiery red cheongsam. A jacket hung on her shoulders and ck shades intact on her eyes. For a moment, she was at a loss for words. The woman''s aura was suppressing her professionalism. She hadn''t met a woman with such an aura before.


    The receptionist cleared her throat and asked, "Do you have an appointment, Ma''am?"


    Zhenyi removed her sses and looked directly into her eyes as she said," Does his wife need an appointment to meet him?"


    The receptionist was baffled for a moment as she stared deeply into Zhenyi''s mismatched eyes. She hadn''t seen eyes so extraordinary before. Her cheeks turned red all of a sudden as she realized that she had been mesmerized by President Long''s wife.


    The man was worse to have as an enemy. So, it was better if she stopped eyeing his wife. But she couldn''t stop but be mesmerized by her looks.


    "Miss Receptionist?" Zhenyi spoke as she saw the girl staring at her in a daze.


    ''See that''s why she always wears ck shades.''


    "Oh, Miss-- I''m sorry, Mrs. Long, I''ll call the President''s office immediately. He has been in a meeting with the CFO and COO." The Receptionist realized that she had been a bbering mess.


    Zhenyi ced her handbag on the receptionist''s desk and crossed her arms in a threatening manner as she questioned," Do you let every woman enter his office whoever ims to be his wife?"


    The receptionist was rendered speechless. Did it mean she was not the President''s wife? If she was not, then why did a sh of happiness run inside her chest?


    "Mrs. Lon-- I''m sorry... Ma''am, No woman ever came to us iming to be the President''s wife. Are you not his wife?" The receptionist asked with a hesitant smile.


    "I''m indeed his wife."

    Meanwhile, inside Long Jie''s office, a confidential meeting between the higher-ups was going on. Evidently, the higher-ups were unhappy with the recent decision that Long Jie had announced in the meeting room today. Even Long Jie didn''t know the real reason behind such a decision. Two days ago, his father confronted him and asked him to separate Long Techs from the Long Groups, despite knowing that higher-ups wouldn''t be satisfied with this decision.


    And that''s what''s happening right now. Each of them was expressing their deep concern as to how bad this decision was for thepany.


    Long Techs was the ears and eyes of the Long Groups. Separating ears and eyes from the body meant agreeing to live a life blind and deaf. However, he didn''t oppose this decision as he believed that there was a bigger picture which he wasn''t seeing yet. Patience was the virtue he needed right now. Besides, Long Techs already worked as a separate entity from the Long Groups.


    "President!"


    Long Jie looked up to see Gu Tian holding a phone. From his scrunched up brows, it was evident that something was not right.


    "Young Madam is here to see you," Gu Tian said and all the people present in the room including Long Jie looked out of the window in surprise. No wonder, Gu Tian looked like he would die any second.


    Recalling how Gu Tian asked Zhenyi if she would like to take his lunch to his office, Long Jie had a hard time stifling hisughter. Did he think she was like other women? His Cat eyes was the only piece that God had sent on this earth for him.


    On the other hand, the COO and CFO along with a few higher-ups peered at Long Jie in amazement. "Presidents, are you married?"


    Their gaze then fell on the ring on his finger. Yes, it seemed like he was.


    "My wedding news raised a hugemotion in Beijing in thest few months. You guys don''t know?" Long Jie asked them with a raised brow.


    The Higher-ups were left speechless. Didn''t he say before that they were just rumors? And when had he ever epted the fact that those floating news were real not rumors.


    Many women in the office were going to cry to sleep tonight since the news that their boss was married had already started spreading in the office like a wildfire.


    One of them was about to say something when they heard the two words that closed their mouths.


    "Meeting adjourned."


    They picked up the files and exited Long Jie''s office with a heavy heart. However, on the way out of the office, they saw a woman d in red cheongsam standing proudly as if she owned the whole building. They were staring at her in astonishment but Zhenyi didn''t even bat an eye at them.


    To her, these people were simply unimportant.


    The higher-ups couldn''t believe that the President''s wife was so proud that she didn''t even bother to greet them.


    The receptionist who was now carrying her handbag apanied her inside Long Jie''s office as if she had suddenly be her assistant. She took her leave after cing Zhenyi''s handbag on the table.


    Long Jie watched the short scene with an amused smile on his lips.


    "Well, your staff is extremely courteous," Zhenyi said with a shrug.


    "I think the receptionist has developed a crush on my wife," Long Jie yfully said, leaning against his desk.


    Zhenyi upied the couch and took out her phone to answer some emails. Since she was back to being Xin Zhenyi/Mrs. Long she had to fulfill her duties properly.


    Moreover, she didn''t want to disturb his work. She had already raised a hugemotion downstairs. And it was enough for one day.
