She stopped outside the door and listened as she was on her way to a conference call, but she could spare a few minutes for some cheap entertainment, especially on a monotonous Tuesday. Most people hated Mondays. But she hated Tuesdays. Mondays were full of energy and ambition for the week. Wednesday was halfway to Friday, Thursday closer still. But Tuesdays? They were boring, tedious. Naturally nd.
"Oh yeah? I have a friend at the Secretarial office, she said the president does not even have any fashion sense. Have you seen her wearing a 90s business suit? What a waste of money!" a second woman says. Her voice hold the desperate, youthful quality of a follower. A sheep who went with the herd. She could sniff.
" The woman knows shit yet she is ordering us around. She even offended young master Li and Du cooperation," the first woman said again.
Technically She was their boss''s boss''s boss''s boss. So She don''t order them around.
"Really? Is she crazy? Yorou, isn''t young master Li your acquaintance? If the Xin cooperation goes bankrupt, will you ask young master Li to give me a job? I can do anything for him." the second one --the ardent follower said.

The second oneughed." Maybe he liked Medussa types. Or maybe she had some hidden charms Yorou."
Her jaw tightened. The man to whom they were referring was her best friend, Sam. He visited her office yesterday and apanied her to Lunch. The man loved food more than he loved people. Heck, he could even ignore her for food.
She had an urge to pull their hair and throw them out of my office.
"P-president Xin," A stammering voice said.
Zhenyi turned around to find a man who she supposed was these freebies supervisor.'' Nice of you toe'' she sighed silently.
Thedies noticed the supervisor and then her. Yes, the Medusa they were talking about.

"My mistakedies," Zhenyi said. " I must have forgotten to ask your opinion about my dressing sense and the type of man I can date."
"Your name," She asked the supervisor. The man was anxious. He should be. His team was gossiping during work hours.
" Dong Feng, President Xin" he answered.
"So, Mr. Dong,are you firing them or I need to take matters into my hands?" She asked him with a smile.
"No, Presiden,t you don''t need to concern yourself. I will take care of it. Please forgive me. I will make sure to discipline my team exactly." He bowed.
Xin Zhenyi had zero tolerance for bullshit--gossips. Not because she cared what they talk about me but because she was freaking paying them to work. They had the liberty to gossip as much as they wish after work hours.
"Deal with them Dong Feng," She said. Apparently, she had a business to run.
"You-you can''t do it" A voice shouted.
"Oh, I can''t?" She asked the woman with a mocking smile. The one who said women are women''s worst enemies deserved a Nobel prize.
The second woman shrank in fear and hide behind her master. What a spineless disciple!
"Do you even know who I am? You can''t just fire us. You will pay for this" the woman warned her. yes, she fucking warned her . The audacity of the woman.
"Call Lu Xinyi," She said to no one in particr.
A few momentster, her Secretary appeared.
"Miss Lu, ask Cao Feng to give them a little privilege. This young woman is young master Li''s acquaintance otherwise I might end up offending him"
After hearing Zhenyi''s reply, the first woman had a smug smile on her face.
