He ignored his Pokemon''s stares and started walking toward Meteor Falls.
Meteor Falls is a cave that is in many parts rtively unexplored and not a safe ce for the average trainer.
Even for Alex, who is a rtively strong elite trainer, this cave is not without danger.
After 15 minutes Alex was in front of one of the several entrances to Meteor Falls.
the weak Pokemons under the elite rank immediately run away as soon as they see Alex and his team.
Even arrogant and aggressive Pokemon wouldn''t attack Alex at such a ridiculous disadvantage in level and quantity.
As always, Alex had bought a map specifically for Meteor Falls for 500,000 Pokedors.
It was the most urate map he could find and although expensive, there was a lot of important information on the map.
This map also reminded Alex of the map Giovanni had given him.
He was wondering if this map belonged to Giovanni''s sale business or if many map makers use a simr structure.

This map is divided into different parts and Alex can see at a nce which sections are dangerous for him. Also, the exact location of Meteor Vige is easily visible.
That''s why Alex was willing to pay such a high price for this map.
He was thinking about going to Area 25# to catch some Bagon but decided against it after a few moments of thinking.
Alex wouldn''t make an awful lot of money even if he did that. Also, the chance of dying isn''t small.
He doesn''t want to risk his life to win some money amount that is not even that much for him.
Alex painfully remembers the Hypno incident and doesn''t want to be so close to dying again.
He thought ''If I''m going to risk my life it should be something where it''s worth the risk or the chances of me actually dying are ridiculously small.''
Alex''s goals are Mega stones and Key stones. Only these are worth the risk of going deeper into the cave.
After he was deep enough in the cave for his Pokemon, Alex took out the Mega stones and Key stones he had and ced them in front of Bastiodon.
Alex asked with a serious expression, "I call these types of Stones, Mega, and Key stones. Bastiodon, can you detect Stones simr to these?"
Bastiodon replied with Gardevoir''s help, "Sry Father. I don''t know how to tell these stones apart from other stones. they don''t feel like anything special to me"
Alex thought for a few moments before saying, "What about the shape and size? Can you tell them separated like that?"
Bastiodon nodded, "Yes, that should be possible. I will then only inform you of stones that have a very simr shape and size. Although there will be other stones that have a simr shape and size...so..."
Alex understood what Bastiodon meant and he said with a smile, "It''s ok if not all the Stones are Mega and Key stones. It''s good enough. I''m content if I don''t have to check every stone."
Bastiodon then said, "Besides, Father. I''ll probably use up a lot of energy searching for stones for a long time, so I probably can''t contribute much to the fights."
As a Rock-type, Bastiodon has a much better perception on the ground than other Pokemon.

Bastiodon again showed a happy expression for a second before he remembered. He started running faster out of Alex''s pet range this time.
Alex suppressed hispulsion to continue to pursue and pet Bastiodon.
