    Xia Yu usually behaved like a boss at home. He’s not used to being submissive in front of Xia Wan, and he immediately expressed his displeasure to Chen

    Xia Wan said nothing and just brought out tea cups and poured tea for Chen


    Lian and Xia Yu.

    Sitting across from him, Xia Wan asked, “Tell me everything you’ve done, and I’ll help you figure out what’s going on.”


    Xia Yu was already anxious, and now that Xia Wan was asking him, he didn’t hide anything. He said directly, “I really wasn’t involved in much of Liu Shi’s actions. We belong to different groups. He likes ying around, and I just enjoy taking some snacks from others now and then.”

    Xia Wan narrowed her eyes and spoke more seriously, “Tell me everything you know. If you confess willingly, it’s different from being forced to do so by the police. The consequences will be different.”


    Xia Yu seemed genuinely frightened. He quickened his speech and said, “I really didn’t know what Liu Shi was going to do to those girls. He just asked me to find an excuse to bring the vige girls to the mountain.”


    “He told me that we were borrowing money from those girls, and when he got the money, he would split it with me.”


    Xia Wan continued to question, “Besides luring the girls to the mountain, did you do anything else with Liu Shi? Like robbing the vigefolk of their money?”


    Xia Yu shook his head quickly, “I really didn’t do that with him! Whenever I go out with my buddies, I usually pay for everything..”
