Yun Bixue’s eyes sparkled with a radiant glow, as though they could light up the night sky. Her favorite ce was the beach, but Ning An City was nowhere near the seaside, so she had no chance to go there. That was why she was already contented visiting it in her heart.
She listened to the sound of waves and took in the smell of the sea breeze. It was exceptionally soothing, and she felt her whole body lighten up immediately. The sparkle in her eyes brimmed with overflowing excitement.
She blinked at Xie Limo, expecting to hear the answer from him.
Xie Limo’s spirits soared when he saw how happy Yun Bixue was. He said in a silky voice, “Since you can hear it already, I don’t need to give you an answer anymore.”
Yun Bixue said ecstatically, “It’s really the beach! Haha! We’re at the beach.” The drowsy look she had when she had just woken up disappeared at once.
In her excitement, Yun Bixue was about to open the car door and get off.
Xie Limo grabbed her hand. “Don’t be anxious. I’ll drive the car over, so it’s nearer to the seaside vi. We can get off once we arrive there.”
Hearing his words, Yun Bixue’s eyes sparkled even more radiantly as she asked, “We’re staying at the seaside vi tonight?”
Xie Limo raised his brow and smiled without saying a word.
Knowing Xie Limo, Yun Bixue knew that his silence meant that it was true. Her heart was so overjoyed that it could jump out at any moment.
When she was young, she had a dream of going to the beach—ying there and sleeping at the seaside vi. From her bedroom, she would be able to gaze at the sea through the French windows, and it would be a beautiful sight.
However, that was just a dream back then, and she did not dare to have high hopes about it. Today, however, she was really overwhelmed with emotions.
Not caring that they were still in the car, she threw her arms around Xie Limo and kissed his cheek. “Hubby, thanks for making my childhood dreame true.” She realized that Xie Limo was helping her fulfill many of her wonderful dreams. It was such an amazing feeling. It made her feel as though everything was an illusion rather than a reality.
Seeing how thrilled Yun Bixue was, Xie Limo’s heart grew soft. However, it ached at the same time as he realized how easily contented she could be.
“Be careful, don’t just hug and distract me like that. I’m still driving.”
Yun Bixue held her excitement as she sped her hands. She kept nodding as she replied, “Okay, okay. I won’t be able to hold it in anymore when we reach the vi.”
Xie Limo’s heart thumped, and heughed exuberantly. “If other people see you like this, they probably won’t recognize you.”
“There’s no one around anyway.” She wanted to open her arms wide and scream, “I’m here at the beach!” She could not wait to jump out of the car and run towards the sea.
She could even smell the cool sea breeze with her eyes closed. It was a great feeling.
Although she did not have her parents by her side when she was young, she had Xie Limo now. This knowledge warmed her heart and made her feel jubnt, so needless to say, she was very contented at the moment.
When Xie Limo nced at Yun Bixue and saw her blissful expression, he thought to himself, “If she knew that there’s something elseing upter, would she faint from happiness?”
However, he thought that his wife’s resolve was still pretty strong, so she probably would not faint.
Once the car was parked, Yun Bixue unlocked her seat belt and bolted out.
Xie Limo locked the car and looked at Yun Bixue’s departing figure. “Slow down. Wait for me toe with you.”
Yun Bixue stopped in her tracks. She turned to look at the vi before waving excitedly back at him. “Quick, the sound of the waves is really nice. Let’s go closer and hear it.”
“Easy, there’s no need to rush.”
When Xie Limo walked over to Yun Bixue’s side, he smoothened her hair and clothes before saying mysteriously, “My dear, sit there and wait for me. I’ll be right back.”
