Xie Limo only returned homete at night. Seeing his mother and wife sitting on the couch and watching an entertainment program, he heaved a sigh of relief.
Yun Bixue noticed that Xie Limo had returned and approached him happily. Just like the countless times before, she naturally took care of his coat. Smelling his cold and dark fragrance, her heart felt grounded and sweet.
Xie Limo’s eyes were tinged with weariness, as though he hadn’t felt at ease the entire day. However, seeing his wife’s gentle expression, his exhaustion seemed to have mostly dissipated.
He reached out and caressed her head as he said, “What are you doing just standing here? Haven’t you had dinner yet?”
Yun Bixue nodded. “I’ll fill a bowl of rice for you. Everything’s all ready. We were waiting for you toe home.”
A hint of concern shed across Xie Limo’s eyes. “Didn’t I say that you should eat first? Are you hungry?” He tried to return as early as possible precisely because he felt worried that she wouldn’t have a proper meal. However, he still didn’t manage to get away. Now, it was already past nine at night.
Yun Bixue shook her head and smiled happily. “Mom brought me a lot of delicious food. I ate a lot in the afternoon, so I didn’t feel so hungry for dinner.” She didn’t know why, but she missed him exceptionally today. Seeing his silhouette, her heart felt safe.
Xie Limo’s exquisite eyes glittered. He gently said, “You should eat even if you’re not hungry. Don’t make me worry.”
“Yes, I know.”
Ji Qiongxin carried out the dishes from the kitchen. Watching how sweet the two of them were, sheughed, “That child, Bixue, is worried about you. She’s been uneasy the entire day. If Mom hadn’t been around, her heart would still be chasing after you. I asked her to eat tonight, but she refused and insisted on waiting for you.”
Embarrassed by her words, Yun Bixue said, “Mom, I’m really not hungry.”

Instead, Xie Limo opened his mouth and said, “Mom, of course I’ll bully her when it’s the appropriate time to do so.” His voice was melodious like an ancient zither; maic and deep, intoxicating and alluring.

Yun Bixue looked at Xie Limo. She thought that even when Xie Limo spoke such words, it couldn’t obscure his aura of ethereal elegance. It was simply enthralling. A person could be obsessed just by looking at his face.

After the meal, Xie Limo left the house to handle some matters before Yun Bixue could speak to him. He said that he would still returnter that night.
The two women continued to watch TV. If they were upset by the news, they would watch the entertainment programs.
