Mordenai was a dragon, so this was to be expected, but they didn’t think it would be him posting a quest to save his mother.
Now that the family was back together, Lu Li and Water Fairy received quite a bit of Reputation. At the same time, they had also unlocked the Nether Drake daily quests. These quests could bepleted each day for a Reputation reward. Afterpleting them for a few days, they could earn enough to buy a Nether Drake.
All they had to do was start with today’s quests.
The starting point was still Mordenai, who would give the yers a new identity.
“Netherwing Ledge... that was once a refuge for the Netherwing but it has been ravaged by the Dragonmaw n. Although the Orcs have upied our territory, they cannot weaken the Dragon’s powerful magic. With this magic, I can conceal your truth identify and help you safely join the Dragonmaw n. I have prepared a letter for Overlord Mor’ghor and will fly you to the Dragonmaw camp. Then, you will start a new life as one of Illidan’s Stormrage’s Fel Orcs.”
And so, both Lu Li and Water Fairy became two Fel Orcs.
The style was quite different and not the most attractive. If Water Fairy was an ordinary girl, she definitely would have refused such a transformation. After all, it was so ugly and she was in the presence of her beloved.
However, Water Fairy wasn’t afraid. Even if she was ugly for the moment, everything would be alright if they could return to their original forms.
The two newly created Fel Orcs went to Netherwing Ledge and their mounts were automatically transformed into Dragonmaw Nether Drakes. Their undercover adventure was about to begin. For a while, the yers would have to do manualbour for their Dragonmaw overlords.
Lu Li and Water Fairy eventually found Overlord Mor’ghor and gave him Illidan’s service
papers.
Overlord Mor’ghor was a red-skinned Fel Orc who wore te armour and wielded an axe. He read the service papers before throwing them aside before saying, “Alright, the most important part of being in the Dragonmaw Legion is that everyone has to work. There are no exceptions. Go find something to do, and don’t mess it up. I will decide, based on your performance, whether to send you off to do something else. Talk to Taskmaster Varkule Dragonbreath in the centre of the Dragonmaw camp and he will give you a task to do based on your skills. Now leave!”
The two new Fel Orcs now had to make their way to Taskmaster Varkule Dragonbreath.
“Dammit, everyone I get is useless.”
Varkule Dragonbreath was clearly dissatisfied with Lu Li and Water Fairy. He growled angrily at them, “What are you good at?”
Lu Li and Water Fairy looked at each other before shaking their heads.
How would they know what these Fel Orcs were good at? They also didn’t know what kind of weird tasks they would get if they pretended to have certain skills. It was best to plead ignorance as they probably didn’t gain anything from doing these monsters’ quests anyway.
“Are you good at nothing? Alright then, we have a use of idiots too. We can’t let you just enjoy your blissful life. Go hunt some of Netherwing Ledge’s creatures and collect some Netherwing Crystals for me. We’ll make that your quest for the day. Now get out!”
Lu Li decided that he would one daye back and kill this NPC.
There was no difficulty in killing the creatures. Even though they had to pretend to be Fel Orcs, the monsters they fought were quite ordinary.
After giving 40 Netherwing Crystals to Taskmaster Varkule Dragonbreath andpleting their first quest, they continued to pester him about getting more tasks.
“Hmph, looks like you did well. You should do some skinning. As a member of the Dragonmaw n, even idiots like you need to learn some skinning. There are many skinning experts here. Hunt some of the Quarrypounders and bring me their skins you idiots.”
They had to kill some people and take their skins!
Fortunately, this was a game and there was some censorship. These Quarrypounders didn’t appear Human. After you killed them, all you had to do was use the Skinning skill with a knife and you could harvest the skins.
The skinned Quarrypounder would then immediately disappear. It wouldn’t leave a skinless corpse behind.
After delivering the skins of 35 Quarrypounders, theypleted the quest to earn their Reputation rewards. These quests were done daily. There were other smaller quests, but they weren’t worth doing.
They eventually ran into a Netherwing Egg, which was quite interesting.
At this time, after thepletion of several quests, Taskmaster Varkule Dragonbreath’s attitude had be much more friendly.
He was discussing this matter with them in a friendly tone.
“If you find Netherwing Eggs on the ind, bring them all to me. Netherwing Eggs are extremely rare, so don’t feel frustrated if you don’t find any. Most of these eggs have been moved to unknown locations. There are some creatures that carry them, but they can also be found near clusters of crystals in mines or in some special shrubbery. Just make sure to keep a low profile, and don’t get Mor’ghol’s attention.
This quest was special because it could be done as many times as they liked as long as they could keep finding the Netherwing Eggs, unlike the other quests which could only bepleted once a day.
There was another quest that needed to be triggered. Lu Li and Water Fairy met another ‘undercover’ person while collecting Netherwing Eggs.
The undercover person gave them a quest that would cut down the Dragonmaw Orc’s strength.
“The Dragonmaw Orcs have set upbour camps near almost every crystal cluster. Just killing the Orcs is bound to cause trouble, but there is a trick that can help use reduce their numbers without getting Mor’ghol’s attention.”
Lu Li and Water Fairy were asked to hunt down infected wild animals in the Moon Shadow Valley and remove their Fel nds. These Fel nds were mixed into some food and ced near thebour camps. The Orcs would fall as soon as they took a bite of the food.
Lu Li secretly put some food near the Taskmaster in an attempt to poison the person that had previously called him a fool.
Unfortunately, it was taken away by Water Fairy as they needed the Taskmaster toplete their quests.
However, there were quite a few ordinary Dragonmaw Orcs that were poisoned. They also received quite a bit of Reputation for each Orc poisoned, to their surprised.
“Come here, it’s time for some medicine,” Water Fairy said as she handed over a piece of poisoned meat.
“What!” Lu Li almost choked on the bread in his mouth.
Water Fairy then smiled happily.
After being with Lu Li, the once distant Goddess had now be more in touch withmon people. Even Lu Li had to admit that Water Fairy had be more like him.
As long as they were happy together, perhaps it didn’t matter who was leading who astray.
