Chapter 1714: C’Thun

Everyone was actually still pretty curious about another thing.
In the chatroom before, everyone saw that Lu Li wasn’tmanding an Instance Dungeon. So, who was the onemanding Ruling Sword then?
A full 40 people had showed up in that Dungeon, and every single one had been taken out to be analysed.
Basically speaking, every one of the 40 people who participated in that attack were all famous yers in the gaming circle. Every one of them were analyzed one by one and excluded.
In the end, the targets were certainly either Wandering and Sky Moon.
That was the first time that Sky Moon had heard that Lu Li had chosen him to be one of the threemanders of the First Clear team.
Ruling Sword’s First Clear team wasn’t the same as the traditional definition of a First Clear team. The First Clear team of other clubs were generally split into those who were going in to participate in battle, the subs who were outside, and those watching and analyzing the livestream together.
Ruling Sword’s analytics team was practically of no use. The orders themander gave in the Instance Dungeon pretty much came from themander right then and there.
At this, everyone began to pay attention to this previously legendarily unseen newmander.
Even so, a new person was a new person. Almost all of Ruling Sword’s First Clears were aplished under themandership of Lu Li. Sky Moon still remained a rtively averagemander. This image continued all the way to the time of the gunds Stronghold battle before it was finally shattered. At that time, Sky Moon wasmanding one of Ruling Sword’s teams to attack one of Glory Capital’s Strongholds. Sorrowless thought a major enemy wasing, arge forcemanded by Lu Li.
That day, Sky Moon terrified Sorrowless, causing the greatmander of Glory Capital to be afraid to venture out.
Of course, this sort of clever tactic wasn’t anything major in the eyes of all themanders. They saw it as just a small thing that had humiliated Sorrowless. It didn’t add much credit to Sky Moon’s name.
That was, until that moment Ouro was defeated.
All the top teams all around the world struggled here. If Lu Li got the First Clear, no one would be happy with it, but they would tolerate it. After all, Lu Li had taken plenty of First Clears before.
It was just how casually Sky Moon had appeared to have taken First Clear when Lu Li wasn’t on the scene.
In just a moment, Sky Moon’s username became a hot search term on heaps of websites online. Many forums began to gossip, interested in Sky Moon’s legendary life.
This was someone who was very clever and didn’t just repeat same thing every time.
As for how many clubs extended an olive branch to him, Sky Moon had never admitted it to Lu Li, and Lu Li never asked either. It was as if this sort of thing never happened.
Actually, almost all the clubs had sent people to get in touch with Sky Moon.
This guy was a reliable person and almost every clubcked a high-levelmander. Even Glory Capital sent people, showing a genuine cooperative proposal.
There were even some proposed funds to be passed to him unsuspiciously. They said they could directly give Sky Moon a massive amount of money to create his club. Not only would the Instance Dungeon attempts or other gaming activities be handed to him tomand, he would even be the one to lead inpetitions.
The Sky Moon at this time was no different to the Sky Moon before he had defeated Ouro. He earnestly sought for advice from Lu LI, asking him to confirm if his strategy had any problems.
“Everyone needs to hold their position, avoid the redsers and deal damage, but they also need to change their positions. There’s actually no shortcut when ites to this Boss. Moon, you’d better be mentally prepared.”
“Boss, you’re just too nice,” Sky Moon said, wiping away cold sweat that didn’t actually exist. He felt that Lu Li wasn’t a master that was training himself, but was actually just beingzy.
However, what Lu Li said wasn’t bad – it was necessary to change positions.
The ninth Boss of the Ahn’Qiraj Temple, C’Thun, was a Boss that required yers to move around and work together. If just one yer messed up, it could lead to the whole team dying.
Simply said, they needed to work creatively together to deal with this Boss.
Last week, Ruling Sword had taken a few hours to achieve a First Clear. This week, they spent a few days to sessfully defeat those previous Bosses again, including Ouro, and sessfully stood in front of C’Thun again.
The results were almost identical tost week. They died too easily. Everyone thought this Boss was harder than Ouro.
This difference was in response to the first stage. There were twomon states of C’Thun’s eyes, and it was the skill that most easily led to the team dying.
The greenser was called Eye Beam, and was sent out from C’Thun’s body. It was his main way of attacking, urring once every 2 seconds. It would jump to yers within 5 yards of those were hit, and the damage would be doubled.
This skill was what caused the team to wipe. Every time theser jumped more than twice, it one-shot all the yers who had under 10000 health. They relied on awkwardly running away to avoid it.
In order to avoid this sort of team death, Sky Moon ordered everyone to stay 5 yards away from each other.
As for the redser, this skill was called Darkness Gaze, which dealt Darkness damage against the yers.
Who would bother to carefully analyze all the damage? Regardless of who paid attention, they would still be eliminated in one shot.
Fifty seconds after the battle started, the first wave of skills started to be cast. The Boss’ eyes opened and his body transformed from green to dark red as a wide beam of red light shone from his eyeballs.
All the yers on whom the light shone were killed instantly. Then, the beam swept over and shone in another direction.
This would ur every 40 seconds, but it moved rtively slowly. As long as the yers weren’t unfocused, they generally wouldn’t be hit. This was the ideal situation. In actuality, C’Thun wasn’t a Boss that was suited to being faced head-on. His fearsomeness came from him having other skills that would bebined together to attack.
The first few team deaths came from these twosers. Lu Li was unable to remain calm and collected
The Boss needed to move positions, so everyone else need to move too
Even if the yers were off by a fraction, they couldn’t risk rushing away. If they did, they would die a horrible death.
Aside from these, there were also two extra skills which prevented them from solely paying attention to the redsers.
The first was a ‘Summon Death Tentacle’, which would be cast about 10 seconds after battle begun.
Upon using this skill, a tentacle would emerge from the ground. The tentacle wasn’t wearing sses, but this did not affect its uracy at all. Every time it made contact with a yer, it would strike them, sending them flying. At this time, it didn’t matter if they were struck by a red or blueser – it was simply a disaster.
