“Lu Bro, Buggy asked me to put the money on your card.”
Little Thief hadpleted his quest and was drawing it to a close.
“You guys can spend it. Just make sure you look after the school I’ve sponsored.”
Lu Li had not been short of money recently, so it was better to support Buggy’s career.
In reality, Buggy was already the godfather of the Common District, and all the gangsters were part of the same mob. However, all these yers were now ying the game, and it was supported officially as they weren’t causing trouble in the real world.
They were considered to be on the road to reformation.
In the game, they were developing an intelligence agency that they intended to spread to all corners of Dawn.
Clubs were generally reluctant to recruit these Common District gangsters as they thought they would lower their overall quality. Even if they recruited them, they would give them boring tasks, like being a Gold Collection member. These gangsters were generally not suited for those jobs and were better suited for doing things that ordinary people wouldn’t do.
These yers had been brought into the game by Lu Li. Because of their close rtion to him, their strength was drawn from him.
Obviously, this was a special kind of investment. Lu Li wasn’t just asking them to work for him. Lu Li also couldn’t just ask them to operate the organisation out of their own pockets because they were already friends. However, if this rtionship was taken for granted, then they would have a problem.
When Little Thief heard that Lu Li was giving them the five million dors, he choked.

“These must have been from yers. They all have gems inserted,” Moonlight observed just from his initial nce.
If Lu Li had acquired these items from a Boss, he wouldn’t have strengthened them and ced in gems. With Lu Li’s current collection of gems and Strengthening Stones, there was no way he could have done it for all eleven items.
As such, Lu Li took the time to exined what had happened today.
“Wow, I’m jealous,” Cat Dad said as he ced his hands on his forehead.
“Lu Li, you... whatever. As long as you’re happy.”
Moonlight had a moreplicated reaction. He was more ustomed to a front-on fight and couldn’t ept such an underhanded fighting tactic, but he still didn’t look down on Lu Li.
“How beautiful...how truly remarkable...” Square Root 3’s mumbled as he stared at Lu Li telling the story.
“This is a ssic strategy. If it was discovered, it probably would be listed in the annual list of strategies. Two great clubs being used to fight and weaken each other. What are you unhappy about?” Cat Dad couldn’t quite understand why he was there.
In his younger years, he had wanted to excel in a simr way, but unfortunately, hecked the character and intellect to do so.
At first nce, Lu Li seemed harmless, but he was actually ruthless. The most impressive thing about what he had just done was that no one knew he did it, and he even took a 5 million dor payout from Blood Red War g.
“Do you think that 4 Epics out of 11 items is too high of a ratio? Even if Sorrowless and White Westhill’s items are removed, it’s still more than 20% Epic items for the Core Elites,” Lu Li said anxiously.
When Lu Li said those words, the other three looked at each other.
The probability of how the equipment was dropped was quite mysterious. The Game Company had not given any official statements about it, but there was no doubt that the item dropped didn’t necessarily have to be the best item. This could mean that the Elite yers of Glory Capital were carrying more than one pieces of Epic item each.
Could Ruling Sword achieve such a standard?
Of course not!
Ruling Sword only had a few Epic items on a few yers. Even Lu Li was still using some Gold equipment, let alone his Dark Gold equipment.
If Lu Li died, he would have to be very unlucky to drop an Epic item. However, both White Westhill and Sorrowless dropped Epic items, so Lu Li had to wonder if they were only carrying Epic items.
“Surely it’s not that bad.” Square Root 3 just couldn’t believe it.
“But it’s not impossible. If they had enough money, it could be done, right Lighty?” Cat Dad asked with a look of dignity.
“It depends on how much they are willing to pay. After all, there are so many yers in Glory Capital,” Moonlight nodded and said with some certainty. “In the past, such things would often happen. It was time to make use of a bug so they could start levelling as quickly as they could.
