When they entered the castle, everyone held their breath, even Lu Li. Fortunately, the two guards were in a yellow status and they didn’t suspect anyone.
The two horses were familiar with the route even without Lu Li’s guidance.
Of course, Lu Li couldn’t really go to the storage house; it was bound to be guarded by heavy defences. All lords valued their possessions the most, and a majority of the troops would have been ced around the storage for gold or firearms.
“Firstly, we need to locate the prison and talk to Thrall. I’ll do this with Hachi Chan,” Lu Li said, beginning to assign roles. Hachi Chan had a high Charm attribute, so it was best for her to talk to Thrall.
As for Lu Li, Hachi Chan was disorientated. He wouldn’t want to let her walk anywhere by herself.
Who knew where she would walk to? Thest time she did a quest withoutpany, she nearly arrived at the main city of the Tauren. It was filled with Horde yers, so it was a miracle for her to reach there in the first ce.
“As for the rest of you, bring the bombs. They will cause confusion, and that’s the best timing for Thrall’s escape,” Lu Li instructed as he patted these bomb caskets, feeling like it was a shame to waste these valuable weapons like this.
“My, we haven’t learnt how to set off bombs,” Elevenless said, looking hopeless.
“They have a trigger. As long as there’s no wind, just use the trigger at the right timing,” Lu Li exined. He was very familiar with the bomb caskets.
“I think we can use these bomb caskets to blow the sentries away. Maybe we can even kill the boss,” Unforgettable Mapleughed.
“I think your IQ is questionable,” Lu Li chided, “You think you wouldn’t die when you put the bombs next to them?”
“Uhm...” Unforgettable Maple went quiet.
“Watch out – we’ll get questioned if we don’t get moving, but don’t bring the bombs out in front of the NPCs. Just pick a location to ce them down and don’t ce them down where the NPCs patrol, or else it would be a waste. Thrall isn’t the same person either, so don’t expect them to have a lot ofbat power...” Lu Li continued to exin.
Lu Li took Hachi Chan and found the location of the prison.
There weren’t a lot of guards; they most likely weren’t expecting any intruders to reach here. Lu Li sapped one and killed the other with Hachi Chan. Together, they easily took neutralized the defence of this prison.
Thrall, at this point, was locked inside the prison. Lu Li had a good idea through the story background as to why he was locked up.
His current situation was tied to the most important woman in his life – Taretha Foxton.
Taretha was the daughter of Tammis Foxton, who was a servant of Aeds ckmoore. She was a small girl who had never seen war, and was the first person to truly care about Thrall.
After the death of the Durnholde, young Thrall was found by ckmoore and was handed over to the Foxton family to nurture. After spending a long time together, Taretha developed a good rtionship with Thrall. This was even more obvious after the death of Faralyn Foxton.
She treated Thrall like a brother!
She wasn’t afraid of Thrall and often taught him many things in private. She passed books and knowledge to him behind her master’s back and secretly wrote to him for many years.
Taretha was like a merciful mother, as well as a gentle sister. This upbringing gave Thrall hispassion and charisma as a leader.
However, there was no secret that could maintain hidden forever.
Following some of the tracks that were left behind, ckmoore felt like Taretha had betrayed him.
At this point, ckmoore already saw Taretha as his own and wouldn’t allow a mere ve to taint his possession, even if this was a ve who had the responsibility to fulfil his ambitions.
Hence, Thrall was locked away.
This was a form of torture, and a warning. If he was any other normal ve, he would have already died. Plenty of Tauren died each day in this ce.
“Go and talk,” Lu Li said as he kicked Hachi Chan. It was her turn to shine.
Hachi Chan rubbed her butt and greeted Thrall behind the bars.
“Hi, Thrall...Mr. Thrall. We’vee to save you.”
