One wipe after another.
Ruling Sword and Glory Capital were fighting the Boss at the same pace. Both sides began to adapt quickly to the rhythm of the Boss and gradually improved. From not being able to reach phase two, they were now nning to advance into phase three.
However, while Ruling Sword was fighting in phase three, Glory Capital had only scratched the surface of phase two.
They had fallen too far behind while fighting the 5th and 6th Boss, especially because of the time that they had spent to look for the remnant. During this time, Lu Li and his squad had already fought the Boss thrice.
Lu Li forgot the number of restarts that they had gone through. He was beginning to lose his voice as a result of this, but had prepared a few lozenges to sooth his throat.
Now, they were beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but were wiped at Ras Frostwhisper’s signature skill: Frost Whisper.
Frost Whisper: Freeze all enemies in a 30-metre radius. Frozen enemies can explode under absolute coldness. Surrounding units are damaged and movement speed slowed.
This skill’s damage was simr to the snowballs, which had the capability to instantly kill yers.
However, the dodging for this skill was different.
Frost Whisper could not be dodged, because it affected a 30-metre radius, while the yers had to stand within a 20-metre radius to be able to damage the Boss.
During this time, two yers needed to be sacrificed by standing four metres from each other to maintain aggro.
Otherwise, more yers would die.
To do this, they needed the members to be spread around the battlefield.
If two yers stood too close to each other, the other yers needed to flee from them to minimize the damage.
They tried this strategy, which worked to an extent. However, the second time they executed it, the Boss killed four people while at extremely low HP, so they just gave up afterwards.
Not every Boss would deal critical strikes.
This time, however, everyone performed well – not even one yer died. Lu Li still had two revives to use, so he was filled with hope.
“Be careful about positioning since Frost Whisper cane any time now. Wandering, observe the Boss’ movements. Memories, stop DPS for a bit. Walk three metres to your right; it’s too dangerous where you were. Moonlight, you’re the same. Stop DPS for a bit, then retreat four metres. Yeah, just stay there.”
Lu Li was feeling extremely anxious for this Boss.
Truthfully, they had focused more on melee damage for this Boss fight, so it was harder to spread out. If they actually did spread out, there would be no more DPS.
They could only let Lu Li analyse the situation by his experience and judge for when the Boss would unleash his skills. Both Lu Li and Wandering retreated a little, since they did not want to make mistakes to risk more DPS.
In his previous life, the Boss was not this hard to deal with. Each yer only needed to spread out by three metres, so the melee sses had no problem with DPSing.
However, all of this meant nothing, since they were going for the First Clear.
“Mamma-mia! I’m a little nervous!” Azure Sea Breeze yelled.
As he said this, Ras Frostwhisper began to utter a chant. Suddenly, a frosty air surrounded the chamber.
“Remnant Dream and Kitty Likes Meat move away from March Rain!” Lu Li shouted at the top of his voice. “Other people, don’t move! Lonesome Flower, hurry up with the skill!”
If this was the rookie Lonesome Flower, he would not have reacted in time.
However, the moment Lu Li yelled a second time, he reacted and instantly activated the skill. When Frost Whisper was activated, he was only 2 metres away from Moonlight.
“Wow, your throat’s not hurting from all that yelling?” Wandering was surprised.
Lu Li’s habit ofmanding was a rxed one since he was not pressured from getting the First Clear. They had time to kill anyway.
“You think I want to yell? Lonesome Flower, you just got deducted by 5 points. Learn from your mistakes next time,” Lu Li said in slight annoyance.
“Alright.”
Lonesome Flower knew that he had done something wrong; he panicked the moment he heard his sister’s name. He didn’t usually make mistakes when he was focused on the task at hand.
“Focus. I’m going to initiate the countdown for the snowballs; dodge to the best of your abilities. Snowballs this time! Snowballs!”
People began to lose concentration after a long time in an Instance Dungeon. This fatigue confused yers about the iing abilities, which had resulted in a wipe before. If they did not clear it this time, Lu Li nned to rest for 30 minutes.
“Snowball!” Fat Monkey yelled quickly.
“We’ll rest for 30 minutes after this.”
As soon as they heard this, everyone began to focus. They were tired, but they knew that today’s First Clear was important. Even the high schoolers were enduring it, so no one couldin.
Azure Sea Breeze took this opportunity to bargain.

As of now, the Boss only had 30% HP left.
The snowballs flew erratically after Lu Li finished his countdown and few began to fall towards the ground.
“Hachi Chan! Turn into a leopard and dodge these!” Lu Li was terrified for her after seeing three snowballs surround her.
She was valuable to the team, so she could not die. Not only was her Tranquillity important, but she also had Revives and was a Healer. Lu Li would dly sacrifice a strong DPS yer for Hachi Chan.
Hachi Chan was also surprised at her perilous situation.
She had followed Lu Li for a long time, so she had developed a habit of instantly heeding hismands, especially when she was in a state of high concentration.
She took Lu Li’s instructions a step further, and drastically increased her movement speed even more.
