Chapter 987: Goodbye Ho’s Nest

In the first season of the professional league, there were a number of clubs that were recognized to be difficult to deal with.
The first was Wings of Dawn with Elevenless, the second was Seventh Heaven with Lucky Southern Persian, then Glory Capital with Sorrowless and Ruling Sword with Lu Li. There were a number of other major guilds withparable strength, but none of them made it onto this list.
Elevenless was the best Berserker in the game.
Since his rise to poprity, Berserkers, who had high attack speed and movement speed became one of PVP’s most popr professions.
A few days ago, Glory Capital yed against Wings of Dawn.
Elevenless managed to defeat Blood Dagger and then went on to defeat Sorrowless as well. He managed to defeat two of the top star yers in a row and subsequently went on to tear up his opponent’s defenses in the group round.
Although Lucky Southern Persian did not reach this level, his Infinite Poly still gave him a moment of glory.
Dawn yers found that they didn’t need to be the strongest yer. They just needed to have some kind of trump card that could distinguish themselves from the rest.
So, from then on, more yers started training themselves in an attempt to be professional yers.
These yers weren’t particrly strong, but they had all sorts of strange strategies. When they worked together well, even a star yer had a chance of losing against them.
However, this afternoon, it was Ruling Sword against Seventh Heaven.
The yers wanted to see who Lu Li was ying against. There were some differing opinions, but overall themunity thought that Elevenless ranked first among the PVP yers.
After all, Lu Li had clearly struggled against Elevenless before he discovered his weakness. Now that Elevenless had made up for hisck of maneuverability, how could Lu Li possibly kill him?
Then, there was Sorrowless.
Sorrowless had returned to the arena after being assassinated by Lu Li, and everyone was looking forward to them fighting. They wanted to see who the true number one yer in the game was.
This current match still wasn’t going to be easy for Lu Li.
Wings of Dawn had defeated Glory Capital while Seventh Heaven had defeated Peerless City. This was going to be one of the most dramatic games as Seventh Heaven was up against Ruling Sword. Everyone wondered whether they would be able to continue their win streak.
At the pre-match preparation stage, Seventh Heaven’s Ho’s Nest was interviewed by the reporters.
Reporter: Did you expect that you would be facing Ruling Sword?
Ho’s Next: It wasn’t that unexpected. We could have faced anyone within the top 100, and it was bound to happen eventually.
Reporter: When you train, have you ever pretended like Ruling Sword was your opponent?
Ho’s Nest: Of course. With Ruling Sword’s current strength, everyone would want to defeat them, but I have confidence in Seventh Heaven to take this match.
Reporter: Is it because of Lucky Southern Persian’s Infinite Poly?
Ho’s Nest: No, we won’t necessarily let Lucky Southern Persian fight Lu Li – the Infinite Poly isn’t actually that useful against Thieves. In fact, I want the opportunity to fight Lu Li. It has been quite a long time since our fight at the beginning of the game.
Reporter (suddenly looking excited): Did you know Lu Li when the game first started?
Although Lu Li never deliberately kept his path to glory a secret, he always maintained a low-key profile and never said more than he needed to. As such, he was actually a very mysterious person in the eyes of the media and the public. It was like he hade out of nowhere.
Ho’s Nest: Lu Li and Moonlight were very close, and that’s how I got to know him.
Reporter: Which one of you won?
Ho’s Nest: Sigh... Lu Li won. I lost so badly that I didn’t tell many yers about it.
Reporter: Haha, you’re very honest. If you end up facing Lu Li again this time, what do you think your chances of winning are?
Ho’s Nest: I am a star racer. When I stand here, I have to have 100% confidence in defeating my opponent no matter who they are.
The yer from Ruling Sword that was interviewed was Fat Monkey. Although he still had a quick temper, he had now experienced twopetitions. As such, if an opponent wanted to take advantage of his temper, Fat Monkey had a decent chance of countering it.
He was the best neer in thest Magic Cup event.
In addition to him, Ruling Sword had two other neers. March Rain was a neer in the Shadow Cup, while Kitty Likes Meat was the standout neer of the currentpetition.
Her performance in this season’s league was better than that of veterans like Elevenless and Lucky Southern Persian.
When ying against Ster Union, Kitty Likes Meat had faced two yers alone. She managed to kill one and cause the other to retreat. This cemented her position as the top rookie and the fight had received ster evaluations by the major guilds.
Majin Temple’s Unforgettable Maple said that he just couldn’t believe that a rookie would have such great mental fortitude.
Lu Li, March Rain and Fat Monkey were all novices in one way or another when they first started. However, Kitty Likes Meat was perfectly calm. Otherwise, how could she possibly have defeated two yers so convincingly?
Even Lu Li was faced with such a situation, no one could confidently say that he could have produced a simr oue.
Reporter: As a rookie Mage, which of your seniors do you want to fight most?
Fat Monkey: Sorrowless of course!
Reporter: Haha... I see you won’t be satisfied unless you’re the best. I believe that we will see you on stage against Sorrowless one day. What do you think of the uing Lucky Southern Persian?
Fat Monkey: He is a powerful Mage, but I feel he is on the wrong path. A Mage should destroy everything with powerful attacks!
The report’s expression immediately fell. The answers to both of his questions made him want to throw up, so he ended the interview with Ruling Sword. He wanted to interview Lu Li, the Boss of the Ruling Sword Club, but his request was directly rejected.
Fat Monkey no longer had the na?ve image he once did; many yers now thought of him as a cunning fox.
But why would he so openly dere that his senior had taken the wrong path? It didn’t even seem like he was joking.
In any case, thepetition was just about to start.
Ho’s Nest was the first to appear. As a Warlock, he felt like he would have advantage regardless of whether Lu Li or Moonlight came out first.
Ruling Sword had not let him down. He had said in the interview that he wanted to fight Lu Li, who had no reason to avoid this fight. As such, the two yers who had fought once right at the beginning were now once again within the same arena.
Ho’s Nest summoned his rare subus.
This subus waspletely different from the normal one. ording to information obtained by Lu Li, Ho’s Nest’s subus could learn a special set of Warlock skills.
It had at least one Burn Skill, one Crowd Control Skill, one Deep Sleep Skill and one HP regeneration Skill.
It was a pet that could learn actual skills!
Against an opponent like this, Lu Li couldn’t hold anything back. He also couldn’t forget about Lucky Southern Persian. He needed defeat Ho’s Nest and then find some way to create an advantage for himself in the next fight.
