    Xia Xin objected, “I haven’t agreed to go yet, and you’re already talking about learning. ”


    Jing MO chuckled and confidently stated, “I know you’ll agree and I think you’ll enjoy acting.”


    Xia Xin wasn’t even sure what she liked, so she didn’t understand why Jing MO was so certain. She looked at him curiously and asked, “Why are you so sure?”


    Jing MO exined, “Because actors experience different personalities and life stories. Your personality is naturally inclined towards experimentation. Plus, your overall qualities and your camera presence suggest you’d be great as an actor. As for your concerns about rtionships, don’t worry; with me in the entertainment industry, I’ll definitely protect you.” Xia Xin yfully smiled and said, “Just like how I protected you back then!”


    Jing MO gazed at her affectionately and said. “Yes.”


    Seeing Xia Xin somewhat intrigued, Jing MO added, “Do you know who the leading actress in this web drama is?”


    Xia Xin shook her head and said, “I haven’t had a chance to ask.”


    Jing MO said, “You know her.” Now, Xia Xin was even more curious. She asked, “Who is it?”


    “Gao Xin.” Jing MO replied.


    Upon hearing Gao Xin’s name, Xia Xin’s face lit up with a smile. She still had a soft spot for Gao Xin. If working on this drama gave her the chance to be friends with Gao Xin, she would dly ept it.


    As they discussed Gao Xin, Jing Mo’s phone rang. Jing MO showed Xia Xin the screen before answering the call.


    “What’s up?” Jing MO answered the phone and asked.


    Gao Xin sounded a bit annoyed. She said, “Jing MO, can you stop being so serious and aloof every time you answer the phone? Can’t you be more lively?


    You’re only 28, not 48! You talk like an old man.”


    Jing MO was speechless and replied coldly, “Get to the point.”


    Gao Xin said, “Fine, fine. I just wanted to ask if you have Xia Xin’s contact information.


    When Xia Xin heard her name mentioned, she perked up and listened more attentively.


    Jing MO questioned, “Why do you need her contact information?”


    Gao Xin exined, “I want to thank her for saving me from the tiger at the zoo before. Otherwise, I might have lost an arm or a leg by now. I n to get in touch and invite her to dinner.”


    Jing MO replied, “You’re in luck, she’s right here with me. If you want to thank her, you can do it directly.”


    Jing MO handed his phone to Xia Xin, who greeted Gao Xin cheerfully, “Hi, Gao Xin.”


    Gao Xin sounded surprised and asked, “Why are you with him?”


    Xia Xin replied, “It’s a coincidence. I rented a house in the same neighborhood as Jing MO, and we’re out walking our dogs together.”


    Gao Xin listened and said seriously, “Xia Xin, I’m just offering a friendly reminder here. I suggest you keep your distance from this guy. He’s a man-eater!”


    Gao Xin’s yful tone made Xia Xin burst intoughter. “Indeed, he doesn’t just eat people; he eats dogs too! His own dog is afraid of him!”


    The two teased Jing MO, and they all burst intoughter.


    Gao Xin continued, “When are you free? I’d like to treat you to a meal, as a token of my gratitude. Don’t refuse, even if it’s not for thanks, you shoulde for the sake of making a new friend!”


    With the conversation reaching that point, Xia Xin naturally didn’t refuse. She said, “Alright, I’m free tomorrow. Send me the location, and I’lle find you.”


    Gao Xin agreed, “Okay, see you tomorrow.”


    After hanging up, Xia Xin handed the phone back to Jing Mo.


    Jing MOmented with a hint of irony, “Your personalities really suit each other; you’ll make great friends.”


    Curious, Xia Xin asked, “How did you and Gao Xin meet? Your rtionship seems quite close.”


    Jing MO exined, “She’s a friend of my father’s. We weren’t close initially. Later, when she entered the entertainment industry, her father asked me to look out for her. We happened to be contracted under the samepany, and after getting to know her, I realized she’s a nice girl. So, we became friends.”


    After sharing that, Jing MO stood up and dusted himself off. He gazed down at
