    Xie Xuning thought that Ye Ling did not like the taste of the bun. He took the bun from her te and put it on his own te.


    “Come, drink some of the fish soup.”


    The fish used to cook the soup was bought from a freshwaterke outside of the capital, giving the soup a milky color.


    Xie Xuning scooped a bowl for Ye Ling. Before he could ce the bowl in front of her, Ye Ling quickly covered her mouth and stood up. She quickly excused herself to go to the washroom.


    Ye Tianxin was startled. She looked at Ye Ling and wondered to herself.


    Could her mother be pregnant? How is that possible?


    Only Xie Xuning was clueless. He was a man, after all; he did not understand such matters.


    “Mother, are you pregnant?”


    Ye Tianxin had followed Ye Ling to the washroom. Ye Ling had her head lowered to the sink. Ye Tianxin took the opportunity to ask her mother.
