    After Xiao Yichen drove away, Lin Wan pivoted and returned to the vi. After going directly to the second floor, shemenced packing her belongings.


    Fortunately, there wasn’t much to gather. Lin Wan had only brought the essentials—two sets of seasonal clothing and herputer. Apact suitcase proved ample to amodate everything.


    At 8.00 am, Lin Wan ascertained that Auntie Li had departed from the vi. Upon standing in the bedroom, she surveyed the space before cing the car keys and an additional credit card from Xiao Yichen on the dressing table. After exiting the room, she descended the stairs.

    Outside, Lu Hao awaited her by the entrance.


    As Lin Wan emerged, he promptly exited the car and approached. He took the suitcase from her and said, “We can’t linger here for too long. Let’s go quickly.”


    Aware that the longer they stayed, the greater the risk of encountering someone looking for Xiao Yichen or Xiao Yichen himself returning, Lu Hao urged Lin Wan to move swiftly.


    “Mm…” Lin Wan acknowledged and promptly entered the car.


    Lu Hao stowed the luggage in the trunk, joined Lin Wan in the car, and swiftly started the engine, leaving the vi behind.


    Due to their urgency, Lu Hao drove at an elerated pace, and within 50 minutes, they reached the airport.


    Upon arrival, Lu Hao handed the car keys to his assistant, Xing Yun, who awaited them. Subsequently, both Lu Hao and Lin Wan proceeded to check in.


    After passing through security, they settled into the VIP lounge to await boarding. Lin Wan, still worried, turned to Lu Hao and remarked, “Lu Hao, I’ll make a call over there.”

    Xiao Yichen, touched by her words, replied with a smile, “Me too.”


    After inquiring about his current activities, Lin Wan asked, “Did you go to the hospital to change your dressing?”


    “I just finished work at thepany and am heading to the hospital now. I’ve already informed Ziyan,” Xiao Yichen responded. After swiftly attending to his tasks at thepany, he reached the hospital promptly and, if possible, visited thew firm in the morning before returning home to be with Lin Wan in the afternoon.


    “Okay,” Lin Wan acknowledged. She then called out, “Chen.”


    “Yes?” Xiao Yichen responded, anticipating that Lin Wan had something on her mind.


    “Let me ask you,” Lin Wan inquired earnestly, “Will you me me if I’m willful?”


    “No,” Xiao Yichen answered promptly, adding, “I will indulge your willfulness. My woman has the right to be willful.”


    Lin Wan continued, “What if I make a mistake?” while fighting back tears in response to his words.


    “I will rectify your mistake,” Xiao Yichen asserted. To him, his woman could do no wrong. Every action she took was correct.


    “Mm, Chen, I love you,” Lin Wan dered passionately. She covered her mouth with one hand and held back tears, fearing she might lose control.


    Upon detecting an emotional undertone in Lin Wan’s voice, Xiao Yichen inquired, “Wan’er, what’s happening?”
