<h4>Chapter 301: Puppet Boss</h4>


    Outside the borders, Qiu Tong and Jin Yang arrived at the airport in a helicopter. They quickly went to the secret base to rest.


    Jin Yang ordered Shao An to instruct all their guards and spies hidden overseas to find clues about the Vulture Organization.


    Late at night, Qiu Tong stood in front of the French windows of the vi in her pajamas. Her back profile looked a little lonely and worried.


    Jin Yang came out of the study and hugged her soft waist from behind. He rested his chin on her shoulder and said in a low voice, “All the spies connected to the Liqing Corporation have been cut off. We can’t find out anything about the Vulture Organization.”


    “Together with Shao An, I’ll go to the headquarters of the Liqing Corporation tomorrow as a potential coborator and see if I can find any clues.”


    Qiu Tong’s eyes were instantly filled with worry and anxiety. The enemy they were facing was hiding in the dark and they did not know anything about them.


    “I’ll go with you.”


    Jin Yang wanted to refuse at first, but he thought of Qiu Tong’s character. He finally nodded in agreement.


    The next day at the Liqing Corporation headquarters, the CEO’s secretary stood at the door to wee them with a smile and brought them into the guest room.


    Qiu Tong examined the decor andyout of the corridor and vaguely felt that something was wrong.


    In the guest room, a mixed-race man dressed in a suit was sitting on a leather sofa. When he saw Jin Yang, he smiled brightly and reached out to shake his hand. “I’ve long heard of your great name, Mr. Jin Yang. It’s thepany’s honor that you came.”


    “The Liqing Corporation’s branch in S City is very outstanding. I want to discuss the possibility of coborating with you.”


    As Jin Yang’s femalepanion, Qiu Tong sat quietly beside him, staring at the mixed-race man with a sharp glint in her eyes. Perhaps it was because her gaze was too purposeful, but it made the other party turn his head from time to time. Every now and then, he would pick up a ss cup from his desk and take a sip of tea.


    Jin Yang tapped his finger on the ss panel on the table and asked with a smile, “Are you Liqing Corporation’s boss?”


    “Why? Mr. Jin Yang doesn’t think I look like a boss?”


    The mixed-race man was quick to reply. Jin Yang shook his head slightly, his attitude perfunctory.


    The two of them only stayed at the Liqing Corporation headquarters for about half an hour before bidding farewell and leaving. They boarded the ck vehicle parked in the underground parking lot. The moment the door closed, Shao An immediately gestured for the driver to drive away. He turned around and asked nervously, “Sir, how was it?”


    “He’s definitely not the boss.”


    Qiu Tong spoke firmly. Jin Yang had the same opinion.


    “When he was talking to you, he tried his best to appear calm and collected, but his instinctive swallowing and evasive eyes betrayed the nervousness in his heart. He could answer all your questions about the Liqing Corporation within two seconds, as if he didn’t need to think at all.”


    “A normal person would need time to think and respond when faced with questions, but he seems to have memorized the answers to the questions in advance.”


    “It is as if he was a pre-programmed robot. There must be something wrong with him. He’s the scapegoat who is being offered to the altar.”

He said loudly, “Sir, before our spy lost contact with us, he sent us a topographic map. After investigating, we can confirm that it’s the topographic map of the Liqing Corporation’s headquarters. And the location of the red dot on the map is on the CEO level.”


    “From the public information we have now, there’s no such space on the CEO level at that red dot.”


    Jin Yang took the blueprint and rubbed the red dot with his slender index finger. He muttered softly, “Hidden room?”


    Qiu Tong narrowed her eyes. “I’ll scout out the ce tonight and see if I can open the secret room and find some clues. I’ve taken note of the security guards’ route and the exact location of the surveince cameras. I can let Little Yu operate them remotely and help me temporarily shut off their system.”


    “No, it’s dangerous.”


    Jin Yang refused decisively, but Qiu Tong insisted, “We’re pressed for time. We have to take the risk and find their weak point.”


    “You have a lot of men under your orders. You can’t go. I’m your wife, so I’ll take your ce.”


    Qiu Tong stared at Jin Yang’s determined and deep eyes. Jin Yang’s heart skipped a beat. He couldn’t control his emotions and raised his hand to grab the back of Qiu Tong’s head. He pulled her into his arms and leaned over to kiss her soft and delicate lips.


    Shao An immediately averted his gaze and raised the partition.


    Qiu Tong hooked her arms around Jin Yang’s neck and deepened the kiss. Their breaths mixed together, and Jin Yang seemed to want to melt the woman in his arms. It was only when the tip of his tongue felt a sweet taste that they parted reluctantly.


    “Come back safely!”


    Jin Yang stroked the top of Qiu Tong’s messy hair and said in a low voice.


    Qiu Tong smiled and smoothed the crease between his brows with her fingers. All their emotions weremunicated without need for words.
