    Mu Xiao dragged Jing Yan to the shopping mall impatiently.


    “Hey, if you’re a brother, then help me pick! I’m going to give a gift that can win the heart of my sweetheart!” Mu Xiao looked at the gift selection with a worried expression.


    “You have so many lovers that you can line them up from here to abroad,” Jing Yan said sarcastically.


    “Can you not be so boring? Do you think everyone is like you?” Mu Xiao put down an exquisite ornament and rolled his eyes. I think you should just be a monk.”


    Jing Yan gave him a sidelong nce. His line of sight moved slowly, and he suddenly saw a familiar yet strange figure.


    The youngdy was holding the hand of a five or six-year-old girl and talking andughing with the man on the other side.


    “Brother Yan,e and give me some advice. What do you think about this music box? Do all girls like this?” Mu Xiao raised the gift in his hand excitedly.


    When he did not get a response from the person beside him, he turned around in confusion. Jing Yan frowned and seemed to be deep in thought.


    Following his gaze, Mu Xiao let out a “wow” and muttered to Jing Yan in disbelief, “I was wondering why she suddenly said she didn’t want you anymore. It turns out she has a new lover!”


    Jing Yan nced at him expressionlessly, as if to say, “It’s obvious that I don’t want her.” Then, he turned his eyes back to the beautiful figure.


    Mu Xiao touched his chin and ed without reservation, “Her dress is not bad. It suits her well and makes her look a lot nicer. I didn’t expect her to be so beautiful when she looks so inconspicuous!”


    “Is it beautiful?” Jing Yan suddenly looked at him with an uncertain expression.


    “She’s beautiful. I told you she’s be more beautiful, but you didn’t believe me.” Mu Xiao pouted helplessly, then looked at Jing Yan’s curled lips. The more he thought about it, the more he felt that something was wrong.


    Why did he feel that Brother Yan’s smile was a little smug?


    What was he so proud of?


    Mu Xiao inexplicably retracted his gaze and continued to peruse gifts, but the person beside him had quietly walked out.


    Li Ming smiled and said to He Miao, “When Onion’s injuries are healed, we can walk the dogs in the park together. We can let them have fun. Our C doesn’t have any friends yet.”

    He Miao’s smile froze on her face, but Jing Yan had just helped her today, so she could not turn a blind eye to him. She could only nod at him in a distant manner, indicating that she had greeted him.


    Jing Yan frowned, dissatisfied with her perfunctory response. He strode forward and pointed at the Pet Shop not far away. “I’m buying Onion something. I just happened to run into you, so I now don’t have to send it to your house.”


    “No need,” He Miao rejected him stiffly. After thinking for a while, she smiled politely. “Onion doesn’tck for anything, so you don’t have to buy anything.”


    “Grandpa asked me to.” Jing Yan was talking lies with a straight face, without any guilt.


    He Miao looked at him in confusion, but she could not find any ws in his expression. She could only nod in agreement and bid farewell to Li Ming and his sister apologetically.


    Jing Yan really wanted to buy something that the young dog usually used. After all, he had to be that stupid dog every night, so it was better to be morefortable.


    He clenched his fists and chose arge andfortable kennel patiently.


    As long as he had this kennel, he would not have to sleep in the same bed as this woman every day.


    He Miao looked at the price tag and frowned. “This is too expensive and my room is too small for this.”


    “What’s there to worry about? Can’t you just clean up a little?” Jing Yan immediately paid and handed the kennel to her.


    He Miao looked helplessly at his inflexible attitude. She remembered that he had helped her today and that it was Grandpa Jing’s good intention to give her the gift, so she did not reject him.
