    ra rushed to the police station to find Sasha sitting in the interrogation room with handcuffs


    around her wrists. Despite the situation, Sasha’s expression was cool and collected as she spoke to


    the officer across from her, vigorously defending herself without a hint of fear.


    ra strode over and asked politely, “Hello, officer. I’m her friend. What’s going on here?”


    Before the officer could respond, Sasha interjected, “After you vanished yesterday, Anders went to


    get his dad to help you out, leaving me all by myself. I figured you must’ve gone to confront that


    jerk, feeling upset and heading to a bar to drown your sorrows.”


    “By chance, I saw Heidi there too, gloating and gossiping about Mr. Casey. You should’ve seen the


    smug look on her face. I couldn’t hold back and I gave her a piece of my mind. I only threw some


    words her way, but this morning, they dragged me here, iming Heidi’s car got smashed and


    suspecting I’m to me. No matter how much I exined, they just wouldn’t listen.”

    At the mention of Heidi, ra clenched her fists tightly. She didn’t need to guess. This was typical


    of Heidi’s tactics, the same kind she had used against ra.


    ra’s eyes, which should have been beautiful, turned icy in an instant. Her voice lost all the


    warmth it had when she first arrived. “Do you have any evidence that my friend did


    this?”


    “We found one of your friend’s earrings by Heidi’s car, matching the one she’s wearing. There’s also


    a witness, that woman over there. She ims she saw Sasha smashing the


    car with her own eyes.”


    ra’s gaze shot towards the woman. With just a nce, ra felt her whole body freeze. The


    woman’s face had aged, but ra recognized her instantly. A cold sweat broke out on ra’s back


    as she clenched her fists tighter. Her eyes darkened as she red at the


    woman.


    Sasha, sensing something was off, grabbed ra’s hand and asked, “ra, do you know her?”


    Snapped out of her shock, ra shook her head with a quivering voice, “No, I don’t.”


    “That’s a relief. I won’t let Hejdi get away with this. It wasn’t enough for her to bully you, now she


    dares to mess with me? I’ll see to it that she’s ruined. And that woman, I’ll sue


    her too.”


    Just as Sasha finished speaking, Heidi’s voice could be heard from outside. “Ian, I honestly didn’t


    know Ms. Sasha was Ms. ra’s friend. If I had known, none of this would’ve happened. It’s just a


    car worth a bit over a million, no big deal. I’ll just have


    daddy buy me another one. Let’s not make Ms. ra feel ufortable. Let’s just drop the whole


    thing, I withdraw myint.”


    ra turned to seen approaching, dressed head to toe in somber ck, his expression as chilly


    as the grave. Heidi was at his side, clutching at his sleeve.


    Seeing this scene again, ra thought she’d feel the heartache of the past, but now, she felt

    ra’s face remained impassive as they walked over. Sasha, on the other hand, was livid, ring


    atn and cursing, “You bastard! You cheated on my friend. Damn you! I hope your dick will never


    get hard!”


    Suddenly feeling a tightness in his chest, he leaned over and whispered into ra’s ear. “Why don’t


    you tell her if my dick is hard or not?”
