    Hearing Yin Tao’s words, Xu Shan finally nodded slowly. Seeing that she was notpletely hated, Zhang Rui finally heaved a sigh of relief.


    Yin Tao was surprised that Zhang Rui was quite talented in coaxing children. It didn’t take long for Xu Shan to ept Zhang Rui and to be willing to y some small games with her.


    Time passed quickly at the Children’s Home. Before Yin Tao and Zhang Rui left, they distributed the gifts they had prepared to the children. Everyone looked very happy, except for Xu Shan, who didn’t show any obvious changes in her emotions.


    “Shanshan, can you go and look for Sister Xiaorui to distribute the gifts?” Yin Tao felt a little upset when she saw Xu Shan refusing to step forward. This child always stayed quietly in the corner alone, making her really worried.

    Yin Tao paused for a moment before she quickly reacted and said with a smile, “Of course. Shanshan, go choose a gift yourself. You can give it to anyone you want.”


    “But Teacher Xiaozhang said that Xiaoying has gone somewhere else. How can I give her the gift?”


    Speaking of Xiaoying’s departure, Xu Shan couldn’t hide the sadness in her eyes. It appeared that the teachers in the Children’s Home tried to protect the children by saying that Xiaoying had left the Children’s Home, instead of saying that she had already been killed.


    “Come and choose a gift. I’ll help you bring it to Xiaoying, okay?”


    Hearing Yin Tao’s words, Xu Shan’s expression finally changed slightly, and she appeared much happier.
