Candice''s heart skipped a beat as she watched her phone without epting.
The amount transferred wasn’t huge, but it was a four-digit number.

The New Year holiday flew by, and shortly after returning to work, Candice heard the news that Alex
had forcefully separated the Aether branch from the Aether headquarters, and that he had suffered
considerable damage and paid a hefty price.
Candice heard the news in a taxi while on her way to wait for Hanley to get off work.

Hanley''s eyebrows lifted slightly, a smile ying at the corners of his eyes. "Okay, I''ll just be your
dance partner."
Following the birth, Candice’s figure had recovered well, and was even more graceful than before.

Embarrassed by how she looked, Candice held back her frown, but tugged at her skirt.
