The air in the office slightly solidified. Candice’s eyelids trembled before she slowly said, “It’s not
about negotiating terms, but discussing cooperation in a friendly manner.”
Alex raised an eyebrow slightly, his expression carrying a hint of coldness. “Negotiate? Candice,
I’ve just refused.”
“Or have you forgotten?” He stared expressionlessly at her as he said, “I never go back on things.
I’ve refused.”

Baldwin family isn’t as simple as you think. I kindly advise you not to get too close to Hanley.”

His tone was light as he said, “Didn’t Hanley tell you? He’s been kicked out by the Baldwin family.

Sonia was upstairs. Candice walked out without acknowledging her, greeted Sawyer, and left.

expected him to agree immediately. But since Francis had been fired by Alex, there couldn’t be any
cooperation between them.

was willing to help Candice.
She lowered her voice, “Actually, we all feel like Mr. Elysian isn’t particrly interested in this

This project is handled by the overseas department. Everything was agreed upon before it was
