    Sonia’s face instantly turned pale as she looked at Helen, stunned.


    From the afternoon when she met Helen, she seemed to have mostly ignored her. At first, she


    thought it was just because Helen was a little cold. She didn’t expect Helen to act against her at


    such a time.


    But Candice was still here and Sonia wasn’t willing to lose face in front of her, so she forced herself


    to smile and said, “I just want to help.”

    Candice gave it a thought and remembered that Marc did tell her about his birthday party.


    She nodded. “I forgot about it because I’ve been too busy for the past few days.”


    When Joe heard their conversation and knew that she had something going on, he quickly waved

    said he was tired. He then told Candice to take care of her business.


    Without a choice, Candice left together with Jackson after checking his medicine.
