Candice was organizing the file, and her hand paused. She raised her eyes and looked at Alex, who
had already looked away, focusing his attention on the contract in front of him.
“Is it because you have something you need to pick up?” Mr. Welch said at this time. He then
carefully asked Alex. “Maybe I can go pick it up? I did ask Ms. Renault to prepare a form for me,

the one,” Candice said, as she looked into Alex’s cold eyes.
There was a glint of light in Alex’s eyes as he followed her words and singled out that report.
