Candice paused for a moment before realizing what he meant. She frowned and asked hesitantly, “I

Candice still shook her head. “I just don’t want to cause any trouble for you.”
Hanley then said, “Just how much trouble can you cause?”

Candice was getting interested in hearing their arguments and couldn’t help but get closer to them.
