    Suddenly pulled towards the bed, Xin let out a yelp just before she could find her bnce.


    Landing on Fu Ling''s chest was unexpected and before she could recover from the impact caused by her nose hitting his chest, she heard him speak.


    "Have you stopped liking me?"


    That question was so unexpected that she froze with his gaze on him. But Fu Ling pinched her arm and asked again, "I''m asking if you have stopped liking me?"


    "Ouch! Mr. Fu, can you see how suggestive our positions are? Let me go first."


    "Do you think I will let you make a move if you don''t answer my question?" Fu Ling asked.


    ''Is this part of being muddle-headed as a result of getting drunk?''


    "I don''t like you anymore." Xin blurted out.


    She could feel the hotness emitting from his body, and with her chest rubbing his abdomen, she felt ufortable and wanted to quickly escape from his clutches.


    Fu Ling gazed at her silently, and when she tried her luck to escape from him, he pulled her forcefully, making hernd on his chest again.


    Feeling her softness, and before she could spill the words she wanted to direct at him with that frown on her face, he locked her lips.


    Immediately she felt his soft lips against her own, and his wet lips trying to pry open her lips, she froze in shock, while at the same time heating siren bells in her head.


    Fu Ling who was kissing her noticed that she wasn''t breathing, and let slowly released her lips, while still holding her tightly against him.


    "You have always wanted to kiss me, why do you look so shocked now?"


    Xin came back to her senses and realized that he was already done kissing her. She tried to escape from him but failed.


    ''What is going on here?!'' She asked herself in an rmed tone.


    Did he like her?


    Was he testing her? But who the hell tests people this way?


    What is his motive for doing this?


    Is he punishing me?


    Different thoughts were going through her head when she got pinched again and forced to stare at him.


    "Do you need me to remind me of what I had done?" Fu Ling asked with a straight gaze at her.


    He really wanted to know what her reaction would be, not knowing how far he has gone.


    Seeing that she was still staring at him in shock and refusing to say anything, he captured her lips once again to kiss her.


    This time around, Xin struggled and when she failed after seeing her strong his hold was on her, she stopped and let him continue to kiss her.


    He didn''t need to remind her to breathe again, and not longter, she started to respond to his kisses, which made him release the force he used in pressing her body on him.


    At least, she wasn''t going to escape from him again.


    The next morning, Fu Ling woke up with a banging head. There was a big frown sitting on his face as he ced his hand on his forehead and slowly sat up.


    ncing at his surrounding, he saw the messy shirts and well-arranged room and sighed.


    ''Where did she run off to?'' He thought as he searched for his phone with his eyes. Sending it sitting on the nightstand, he shifted and stretched his hand to reach for it.


    It was almost 8 am.


    After going through his phone for missed calls and messages, he nced at the door to the bedroom and sighed again before slowly getting off the bed.


    He was going to find Xin in his messy shirt and pants, plus his disheveled hair.


    Opening the door, he walked along the small corridor and went into the small sitting room, but he didn''t see her there.


    Next, he made his way into the kitchen while calling out to her, but he didn''t get any response either.


    But he could tell that she was in the kitchen some time ago, giving the aroma of the different dishes he could perceive which his stomach to growl.


    He didn''t eat anything before and after drinking. After filling his stomach with alcohol the previous night, his stomach was empty, and he needed to pee badly.


    With that, he didn''t even bother to look for Xin again and rushed into the bathroom to relieve himself.


    It was when he had finished with his business and stepped out of the restroom that he heard the sound of her entrance door opening.


    ''Did she go out?''


    Making his way towards the sitting room again, he met her head-on.


    "Where did you go to?" He asked as he stared right into her eyes with a frown.


    Xin studied his expressions and gestures to know how she would reply to him because she wasn''t sure of his attitude after their affairst night.


    Seeing his messy hair and shirt, with him standing in front of her in bare feet, she said while raising the item in her hand, "I went to get you a change of clothes and a clean set of briefs in the clothing store not far from here."


    Fu Ling nced at her hand and saw the bag from a clothing store that wasn''t familiar with him before reaching out to take it from her.


    "Thank you."


    Xin refused to let go and stretched out her other hand, demanding for her money back after telling him the price of the things she bought for him.


    Fu Ling was speechless by her actions. If he wasn''t very weak, he would have loved to argue with her.


    "My wallet is in the room, follow me," He said as he turned his back to her and led the way to her bedroom.


    Xin smiled and followed him.


    "I can''t believe you would ask for money before giving the bag to me, after what went in between usst night." Fu Ling grumbled as he took out some cash from his wallet and passed it to her.


    "We only kissedst night, but that isn''t enough not to ask for my money. You are so rich, so how can I let you off?" Xin replied as she took the money and passed the bag to him.


    ''Is she acting cheeky with me?'' He scoffed.


    "I got you some toiletries as well, freshen up, I will serve the dishes," Xin said kindly before turning away.
