<h4>Chapter 607 – The Truth From The Past IV</h4>


    From the story his son narrated, there was a 98% chance that he was the biological father of Jia Li, but for formality’s sake, he wanted a paternity test to hold.


    Jia Li was already grown up and was sessful, what more, she married into the Fu family. It wouldn’t be bad for all three families to be united, he thought to himself.


    "Never! That will never happen!" The third daughter of the Huang family said.


    "What do you think will happen if that youngdy learns the method through which she was conceived? I will suggest for you to give up on that ridiculous idea!"


    "I know this situation very well. Of course, it won’t dwell well with her, but with time, she will learn to ept him, because she can never deny who her biological father is!" Old Mr. Guang insisted.


    He was only after the benefits he would get if the three familieses together, and nothing else.


    Old Mr. Huang was so infuriated by his words and useless attitude that he raised his hand to hit him, but he was held back by his children, and the Gu family members hurried over, while Mr. Guang and his son who has been silent with remorse, were shocked by his attempted action.


    "Old Guang, I dare you or any member of your family to cross our paths, then you will see if I’m capable of bringing down your Guang family or not." After threatening him, Old Mr. Huang took his wife’s hand and led the way out for the rest of his family.


    Anyone would frown upon the injustice Huang Li experienced. That she rejected Guang Bo’s promation of love would never have justified his abominable actions.


    As they left the Guang residence, Old Mr. Huang couldn’t stop ming himself for ever thinking of matching his daughter with the son of the Guang family. To him, that was the greatest mistake of his time.


    He was now beginning to think that if he had epted Huang Li’s choice of a life partner, she would never have suffered so many grievances, and died so early in that manner.


    Her future from 26 years ago, was because he refused to ept her wishes.


    The entire Huang family was furious and a few of them regretted why they didn’t punch Guang Bo in the face, and more especially, Old Mr. Guang who talked as if theirte sister’s injustice was not a big deal.


    Meanwhile, the Fu family was waiting for the Huang to report back to them.


    Fu Hua let Jia Li take a few days off from work because of her mental health. She had shock after finding out that the person that raised her was not her biological father, so right now, her mind was conflicted.


    Fu Hua didn’t go to work either as he wanted to stay close to his wife even though he spent most of his day in the study. He did this because he believed that his presence will somewhatfort her and keep her mind at ease, which actually did.


    Jia Li has been troubled all day, but there were moments when she took a break from thinking about her birth secret, and those moments were when Fu Hua asked her toe to the study to talk about work.


    His aim was to distract her from her thoughts by engaging her in a business discussion. Atst, he asked her if he was interested inunching her clothing line in FJ soon.

    Jia Li didn’t expect that question because she hasn’t been thinking much about it. She was still focusing on building her capacity in her job. Since he has asked the question rted to her dream, she had to respond.


    "Mmm... I’m still thinking about it. I have no idea for now."


    Fu Hua managed a small smile as he said to her, "I don’t like your reply. I need a reply in the next 5 minutes." Fu Hua said thest sentence with a nce at the table clock on his desk.


    "What? I have to think of a reply right now?" Jia Li asked with raised brows. She was really surprised by the sudden task.


    It has really been a while since he Bossed her around. She has be so used to seeing her as her husband that she forgot he was her big boss at work.


    "Yes, and your time has started counting. Take this and sit over there." Fu Hua said as he handed a piece of in paper and a pen to her, and pointed for her to go sit on the couch.


    Jia Li grudgingly took the items from him and went to sit at the couch he pointed at. Fu Hua smiled as he watched her walk away while grumbling to herself.


    Jia Li’s mind was nk for 30 seconds straight before she could start thinking of anything. And when 5 minutes was up, Fu Hua called her to submit the paper.


    "Jia Li?" Fu Hua called out to her as he focused his gaze on her.


    "Huh..." Jia Li muttered in surprise as she nced over at him. She was surprised that he called her by her name instead of the usual pet names.


    Fu Hua knew the reason for her surprise and chuckled softly, "Your husband will be back shortly, but till then you will have to face your Boss and do your best to please him. Come here, your time is up!"


    Jia Li had no choice but to walk up to him to submit the paper while thinking of the long day she had ahead of her.


    Taking the paper from her, Fu Hua nced through it while asking, "When do you n tounch your clothing line, I can’t see any date yet?"


    "Oh! I haven’t concluded on it yet." Jia Li replied.


    Fu Hua folded the paper she gave to him into two and passed it to her. Now, there was no smile on his face. "I want a date ASAP! If you don’t have a date, then your concept is pointless.. When you have a date or month, all the ideas you wrote, will make sense."
