<h4>Chapter 388 - Her Superiors Reject Her Invitation</h4>


    Fu Hua was surprised to see Jia Lie in with Sunny and it was toote to mask his surprised gaze because Sunny saw it, but she didn''t think much of it.


    "Mr. Fu, this is Jia Li, my assistant." Sunny introduced Jia Li with a smile.


    "I see. Take a seat." Fu Hua said as gestured for Sunny to sit in front of him before turning to nce at Jia Li who was still standing and asked her to sit on the couch.


    After taking a seat, Sunny handed the files in her hand to Fu Hua and started talking about the new travel bags and suitcases they wereunching along with matching bags and shoes for thedies.


    As Jia Li satfortably on the couch, she remembered the first time she came to FJ and stepped into Fu Hua''s office and how well he treated her. But today, the situation was different, so she thought.


    Fu Hua and Sunny engaged in a conversation concerning the new products they were tounch soon. They both talked till it was time for a break.


    "I will go through all of them and get back to you soon." Fu Hua said to Sunny in conclusion.


    When Sunny and Jia Li were about to leave his office, Jia Li and Fu Hua''s gazes met. Fu Hua smiled and winked ???? at her, and Jia Li couldn''t help but smile as well. But her smile disappeared quickly before she would be caught by Sunny.


    As Jia Li and Sunny made their way to the elevator, Sunny said to her, "Jia Li I''m sorry for keeping you away from your tasks for a long time. Don''t worry, I will adjust your schedule to make up for the time you lost."


    "Thank you, Miss Sunny." Jia Li said with a polite smile. She was grateful that Sunny seemed to care about her.


    While others were working, she was in her husband''s office sitting there and doing nothing, which wasn''t the best, so Sunny understood how precious time was and apologized to Jia Li and also offered to make up for it.


    When Fu Hua came home in the evening, he went to hug his wife. He hugged her from behind and breathed in her scent and asked, "Why were you absent-minded during my lectures today?"


    Jia Li smiled and replied, "I couldn''t behold he''d handsome you were, so I was lost in thought while thinking how you belonged to me."


    Fu Hua chuckled and kissed her neck. "You''ve learned to say cheesy words."


    "You thought me." Jia Li replied as sheughed heartily because Fu Hua continued to kiss her neck.


    "I will punish you for not paying attention in my ss today." Fu Hua said as he turned her over and immediately pulled her to him.


    As he locked her in his embrace, he leaned in to capture her lips with his mouth. As he kissed her softly, Jia Li couldn''t help smiling. She loved this man who belonged only to her even though he was an idol to many people.


    After delivering a deep kiss, Fu Hua tried to put his hands inside her shirt, but she turned him down.


    "No way, get your hands off me. Go and take a shower, I need to take Jasmine out to the garden." Jia Li said with a smile.


    Fu Hua sighed and kissed her cheek before letting her go. "I will go take a shower then." He said and disappeared into the inner room.


    At the Bai family residence. Bai Jun met her grandmother to request some invitation cards.


    "What do you need them for?." Olddy Bai asked with a frown. Now, she didn''t trust her granddaughter as thetter didn''t give her any reason to do so.


    "I want to invite my colleagues and my superiors from work." Bai Jun replied. Because of the way she was bombarded because of her wedding invitation at work, she decided to get a few invitations for them.


    "By superiors at work, who do you mean?." Old Lady Bai asked with a frown. She thought that Bai Jun thought of giving the wedding invitation to Fu Hua since he was also her superior at work.


    Bai Jun could tell what her grandmother was thinking and felt annoyed within her, but she managed to hide her feelings.


    "My coach at work. He supervises me directly in the course of this production period." Bai Jun replied.


    "There is no need to invite him, this is a small-scale wedding, and just got into FJ." Olddy Bai said to her.


    "But it will look bad from my side if I don''t give him an invite as everyone already know that I''m getting married on Saturday." Bai Jun said with a frown. Now, she needed a reason to give out her wedding invitation.


    Olddy Bai felt that she was right and allowed her to take some invitations to give to her colleges and superiors at work.


    The next day at work, Bai Jun gave out her wedding invitations to the colleges that she was close to, but when she tried giving her invitation to Sunny, thetter nced at the wedding card in her hand and gave it back to her.


    "I won''t be free this Saturday, so I can''te. Congrattions in advance." Sunny said to her with a smile.


    Bai Jun smiled and left after a polite bow. But deep in her heart, she was already cursing. She felt that nobody in FJ cared about her.


    When she gave the invite to Chyou, thetter doesn''t even take it from her and asked, "Why are you giving it to me, are we close?."


    When Bai Jun gave her invitation to her supervisor, he said he wasn''t interested in it, but congratted her.


    So far, Sunny was the most polite one amongst them, but still, Bai Jun wasn''t satisfied. She felt that everyone loved Jia Li more than her.


    When the Fu family received Bai Jun''s wedding invitation which was sent by Olddy Bai, Grandfather didn''t bother to nce at it as he said he wasn''t interested.


    FaangSu wanted to go to the wedding and talked about it at the dinner table, but grandfather Fu refused.


    "There is no need to go there. You are not friends with that Bai girl, so why are interested in her wedding?.." Grandfather Fu asked with creased brows.
