<h4>Chapter 99 - Fu Hua Calls Jia Li Out After Breakfast</h4>


    Today, was a huge turning point in the life of Jia Li and Fu Hua, as today being Monday, was the day they would be signing their marriage certificate.


    Jia Li was very nervous today. When she woke up, she almost forgot that she was getting married to Fu Hua.


    She woke up a bitte because she sleptte. Someone''s call reminded her of something, but it was toote for her to do anything.


    Li Huan called Jia List night, and they spoke for a while. During the call, Jia Li was reminded of the crush she had on him.


    This one year, they were both able to tell that they liked each other, so their conversations were no longer awkward.


    Jia Li liked Li Huan and wanted to end up with him. But she forgot about it with the two weeks gaps they didn''tmunicate.


    Li Huan told her that he was working pretty hard because a promotion was open in their office, so he wouldn''t be able tomunicate with her for a while.


    With all of these and the pressure, it was possible for Jia Li to forget about her future with Li Huan, because she was more concerned about not disappointing Grandfather Fu.


    Late at night, Li Huan phoned, and they talked for a while. He told her he was done working for the promotion and was waiting for the result.


    While talking with him, Jia Li couldn''t bring herself to tell him she was getting married. Li Huan mentioned something about them dating once he secures the position, but he did that in a roundabout matter.


    After their conversation ended, Jia Li was so restless and she sleptte because she had a lot of things she was thinking about.


    If her servant didn''te to wake her up and to remind her of what day it was today, she would have forgotten and continued sleeping.


    "Miss, you have to get up, breakfast is ready, and it''s been served." The servant said anxiously.


    "What?! Oh no!" Jia Li said as she hurried out of bed. Right now, she was starting to regret the reason she slept sotest night, and right now, everybody would be waiting for her at the breakfast table.


    ''Would they think she was rude?'' Jia Li thought as she rushed into the washroom.


    Ten minutester, Jia Li walked into her closet to get dressed. I don''t think she knows that the outfit she was putting on, wasn''t right for the asion, or maybe she didn''t have the time to pick a dress.


    Jia Li brushed her hair before packing it up in an updo, and then, she hurried out of the room and made her way to the dining table.


    She was just in time to hear Grandfather Fu asking about her.


    "Grandfather, I''m sorry I''mte." Jia Li said in a soft tone as she bowed to the Old man.


    Grandfather Fu nced at her with a gentle smile and asked her to go to her seat. He was not offended in any way, unlike Fu Hee.


    "Ah! Grandfather, I know why Jia Li woke upte, she must have been thinking about her marriage with cousin today." Fu Meixu said as she chuckled softly.


    Fu ChunHua and Fu YingPei smiled as well. Grandfather chuckled a bit and then asked Fu Meixu not to tease Jia Li.


    Fu Hee gritted her teeth and wanted to voice her opinion, but Fu Lei held her hand down. Fu Lei had arrived the afternoon of the previous day.


    Fu Hee had hope that her husband would settle things with the old man, but to her disappointment, he didn''t bring the matter up. It was as if he was in a taut understanding with the old man.


    Fu Hee nced at Fu Lei. She was pretty annoyed, but it was too bad that she couldn''t give him a piece of her mind.


    Fu Hua nced at Jia Li to see her eating with her head down. But when his eyes nced at her clothes, his brows were creased.


    He was wondering if Jia Li nned to follow him out in that kind of dress or if she would change her clothes after breakfast.


    Fu Hua stopped thinking about it and ate his food.


    After breakfast, Grandfather Fu said to Fu Hua,


    "When you two return, there will be a small banquet to celebrate your marriage, so don''t stay outte."


    Jia Li was grateful the breakfast ended on time, as she was already nervous from everyone sending nces her way.


    "Jia Li,e with me." Fu Hua said as he called Jia Li out after breakfast.


    Jia Li was indeed surprised by the way he addressed her. He was no longer calling her, ''Miss Qin''.


    Jia Li quickly followed him out. When they got to a quiet ce, Fu Hua stopped in his steps and turned to nce at her.


    He looked her up and down before asking, "Do you n on following me out in this dress?"


    "onww..." Jia Li made a funny sound before ncing at her dress.


    ''Is it too casual? But I didn''t want to dress too much so I wouldn''t be noticed.'' Jia Li thought.


    "Is...is that bad?" Jia Li asked without thinking.


    The frown on Fu Hua''s face spread. He couldn''t believe his ears.


    "Do you want me to teach you how to dress? We are going out for an official matter. Don''t you have any dress that will fit the asion?" Fu Hua asked.


    Jia Li was confused with what he said. She thought he wouldn''t mind the way she dressed since he didn''t love her, so she was really confused with his attitude now.


    Fu Hua saw her confused looks and became more annoyed. But he tried to talk to her in the calmest way possible, but his tone still turned out cold.


    "Go and get your bag and your household register, I will be waiting for you outside the house." Fu Hua said before walking away.


    He was dressed quite handsomely and richly, and it looks like he really ced great importance on today.


    Without wasting time, Jia Li went back to her bedroom to pick up her bag and household register, before going to meet Fu Hua outside the house.


    Looks like Fu Hua did not n to drive the red sports car today because he was standing in front of his ck car.
